OK, I just mashed up amrussell’s voting recap with CIAS’s WoW on Jimmy, just selecting the Jimmy posts that seemed of some interest, in case that helps anyone else see anything. It’s really long and possibly of no use whatsoever, so I’m hiding it in spoiler tags. It looks like a lot of garbage html in the editing window so I’m going to maybe come back and look at it again after I post it and see if anything new stands out.

It occurs to me that this:
could be a very subtle smudge on Drain Bead, as it “promotes” her into the always-popular second-vote category, when in fact she was the third vote on Bill, after peeker’s subsequently unvoted first vote and then Jimmy.
Wait, I thought the third vote was supposed to be the traditionally-scummy one (if one sets any sort of stock at all in that sort of thing in the first place).
That was post 809, and may have just been noise. The events of the 12ish hours between this post and the previous Jimmy post (#776):

So assuming he meant anything at all, it pretty much sounds like he was talking about the case against Boozy.
I guess I’ve heard both. (peeker voted for me for a second vote, among other reasons too variable to mention).

So. Additional points:
1 - As Drain Bead mentioned, Jimmy was poking at Chronos pretty much all Day.
2 - Jimmy was opposed to people voting for Boozy.
And that’s what I’ve got for the moment. Plenty of time yet to try and pull anything together.
Any particular reason our ‘willingness to trust Boozy’ is more interesting than the other people who voted for him for leader? I think his actions with jpei were strongly pro-town, and I don’t see how that can really be argued with. That doesn’t make him town, but it does make him a reasonable candidate to act as a pro-town leader.
Two games now I’ve wound up voting for a lurker on Day One after initially resolving not to do it. I take responsibility for my vote; I thought Bill was not being pro-town when he was showing up, which was rarely. Bleurgh.
I think those jumping on Gryff for claiming are misguided. Whilst there have been a large number of claims this game, I don’t think it’s been unusual or catastrophic really. And there is clearly a lot of disagreement, not all of which can be scum motivated, about the utility of partial claims or explanations which not under lynch pressure, so people making their own decisions on that front seems reasonable to me.
This does seem borne out by the behaviour of Jimmy.

I’m not going to get into exactly what was given to me, although it really wasn’t that useful of an item.
As far as the Day end, how about a Tuesday vote, for a Wednesday end? We’ll start the next day on the weekend, sure, but the governor vote seems to be a bit of a waste of time, and If we can start on substansive talks on Monday, I think things would work out much better.
peeker, speaking only for myself, what I find most suspicious about your claim is, first, you weren’t actually under all that much pressure when you made it; second, your emphasis of “A doctor” looks like you’re covering your bases against a counter-claim; and third, your reluctance to say anything at all about the role that would provide a chance of confirming it (seriously, how would it help Scum for them to find out what your role is called?).
On the other hand, if (as I suspect) peeker is lying, and if (as seems likely) we really do have a real Doctor in this game, then I imagine we’ll eventually get to a point where the real Doctor will find it appropriate to claim. I’m sure there’s more than two Scum in this game, so even if peeker is Scum, we can afford to wait and see on him, and hunt for other Scum in the mean time. The truth will come out sooner or later.
While I don’t like all these claims, I have to blame the mods for a couple. Stop coercing players like that! Bad mods!
But given that the mods are nudging us towards a couple of power roles so far and the Scum had an Investigator, I hope that means we have many, many roles as yet unrevealed. As mentioned upthread, it would suck if Scum lost their Investigator but it didn’t matter, since power roles kept claiming.
