Screamers Mafia

Mods, can you send a PM to ping Freudian Slit to get her back in the thread?

i posited a suggestion of what i occurred. maybe so maybe no.

but apparently you know better. how in the world could you be that convinced. oh, i get it.

vote drain bead

crap what happened to think. sheepdoodle what i think occurred.

bad peek, to the backyard with you.

well at least you got the part about me not being part of any daytime scum strategizing correct 'cause that would put me in the schizophrenic camp.

gotta admit this game is driving us all a little bit nuts.

pede/mahaloth is this even close?

Aaaaaaaaaand we have an OMGUS. peeker, the appropriate thing to do when I called you out on this texcat stuff would be to say “Hey, it’s just a suggestion, and probably not a very good one at that,” rather than to try to defend something that is essentially indefensible and then vote me for pressing you on it, while THEN saying “hey, it’s just a suggestion.”

Do you really think that me calling you out on this makes me Scum?

Right. I just don’t think that his weird speculation is particularly relevant.

i think she’s in atlanta with luke.

yeh that makes sense.

you’re full of flopdoodle

vote drain bead

ok, in all seriousness.

i really assumed that you thought it was a suggestion. it make sense, to me, however.

why would anyone else kill texcat?

a town vig. now that makes no sense.

an sk **. that makes less sense.

scum. well they’d be the last group around.

and a mason recruiter/confirmer would be one of the most powerful roles that scum would have to face. so maybe just blind luck, then.

1 - compulsory vig decided to lynch the lurker
2 - maybe texcat tried to recruit the wrong person (Jimmy?) and got killeded that way.

Anyway, not a lot productive going to happen from this speculation.

ok, i’ll let it lie.

On Night 1, a confirmed Town is one of the most likely targets for Doc protection. Or Scum kill. So if a 3rd party targets them, they are likely to be wasting a kill. If only I had said that earlier…

… oh good, I did.

Alternatively, the could wait and hope that the Scum does the killing for the SK, or that the Doc gets enough candidates for protection that they are more likely to leave the confirmed player alone.

Pretty durn simple is right - the “safest kill” is the most obvious kill, and when is that a good idea?

Quoth Drain Bead:

Eh, peeker says insane and seemingly-insane things no matter what side he’s on, and I don’t think that Scum teammates would be able to stop him from doing so. In fact, they might not even try: A sane-sounding peeker might attract suspicion.

No.

No.

If she had been unable to post, it would have been in the Official Dawn/Dusk.

Done.

…huh?

If I interpreted that correctly, then: no comment.

One other thing occurred to me (always assuming this is a genuine paraphrase). I don’t want to read too much into color, but if the way the scum roleblocker works is by blocking the blocked player’s door, then maybe they can only block players from using powers to target other players. In other words, maybe they didn’t kill peeker because he couldn’t self-protect.

NETA: of course if peeker is lying then that’s an awfully convenient kind of roleblocker for the scum to have, since it explains why his doc heals aren’t healing for squat, but why the scum haven’t killed him yet.

NETA: and in my original post, of course I meant “they didn’t kill peeker cause they couldn’t STOP him from self-protecting.”

Power roles shouldn’t hard claim unless forced to by being endangered of being lynched or having information that will help a lynch.
(note: I’m catching up right now. If I post anything else in the next five minutes, it’s an automatic reaction tochanging events as I read them, not because I’m secret scum-plotting to ride some bandwagon)

All right. I’m caught up. I still want a peeker lynch, but I’m more convincd by the Daphne case than the Drain Bead one.

I’m waiting for tomorrow to vote, though.

very Democratic of you sport!
