The momentum was solidly pushing towards Chronos, toDay. Though some still wished to ‘test’ Drain Bead for her actions earlier, the consensus had rested on Chronos.
OaOW and Boozy pushed him into the testing chamber. “Guys, you don’t want to do this. I’m town. Really. Don’t–”
Effortlessly, Chronos shoved his two captors away, reaching for the fragmentation grenades on his belt.
“I wasn’t going to, but you’ve forced my hand.”
He threw it, at which point it was promptly pulled back into the chamber by the high-powered magnets that had been pulling Chronos back the entire time.
The doors slammed, and then opened a few minutes later. Chronos fell, no longer active, in the form of a wounded soldier.
Chronos, a Model 2 (Screamer Roleblocker), is dead.
“Hey guys!” shouted Drain Bead. “Freudian is on the move again!”
Freudian Slit was sleepwalking again, this time moving toward the edge of town, beyond which lied certain death. Various people tried to hold her back, or snap her out of it, but there was no hope–she was too far gone.
Freudian Slit, the local sheriff (Town Jailer), has gone terminally comatose.
It is night. Day starts at 1:35 EST on Sunday, October 25th.

A fuller explanation of Comatose:
Basically, Comatose is a rule I adopted for inactive players. If a player
-Tells me they’re going to stop playing, or
-Falls under the line of inactivity (no game-related posts for a full Day)
and the time for substitutions has passed, they go comatose. Basically, for a full DayNight cycle, they are untouchable, and are able to rejoin at anytime. After that point, though, they are modkilled.
This provides a nice bridge between the ‘modkill immeadeatly’ and ‘never modkill’ rules.

What can a Town Jailer do, exactly?
The role roleblocks the target and prevents them from posting the next Day.
Excellent, of course, to the scum being dead.
I’m going to look back at my wow on Drain Bead, but my immediate reaction is that she looks very much better; she was on Chronos’s case the whole time.
Also, of course, her (according to me) hypocrisy on going after Chronos for the strategic vote thing (in part) could only be scum-motivated on the most bizarre triple-bank-shot of explanations.

Heh. I’m not letting her off the hook that easily (will take some thought, anyway – truly was NOT expecting Chronos to flip full-on Scum, so my thinking’s going to need readjusting), but I’m too happy to care.

In other news, I was quite worried that Freudian could be our hypothetical additional investigative role; and doubly so worried when I saw her role name. That seems not to be the case.

This would be a better defense if you weren’t such a convoluted motherfucker in the first place. 
Her role turned out to be pretty anti-Town, actually. Roleblocker PLUS silencing someone for a whole Day? Yeesh.
Yeah, that sentence needed a compass and map.

So the Town Aligned thing was a town-cred buying gamble, or else somehow Scum has some idea that there isn’t a Lie Detector.
Hard to say if the pushing on OaOW was to give himself a reason to place a null vote, or to try and get more info for the scum.
Who was in the vote lead when he FOS’d everyone who shifted their votes after jpei’s claim?
Boozy looks considerably better - Chronos voted him, and also pushed pretty hard on the “Boozy isn’t confirmed Town” argument early on Day 2.
Elected Oredigger, which is kind of an idiosyncratic vote.
I wonder if there’s anything interesting in the 3 days of notes; anyone feel like taking a stab at that?
He voted me twice; the first one put me in the tie for Leader.
I think he was trying to set up a double doctor lynch with his unvote of Daphne on Day 2 - “one of them must be scum — let’s kill THIS one! Wait, he was Town? Then THAT one must be the scum!” But Thing Fish’s fuller roleclaim made that impossible so he went back to plan A.
Practically a 3-way tie, IIRC. jpei himself, Drain Bead and I think peeker. I believe the BillMc thing didn’t pick up steam until afterwards.
Boozy already looked fine IMO; I can’t see him being Scum unless Alka also is, and that’s a risky play with one Scum already down. But yeah, sure.
