What?
Angua is the name of an attractive female werewolf in Pratchett’s many Discworld novels. The thing is, she’s a woman in the “Watch”, Ankh-Morporok’s male dominated police force, and people often think that she’s not a Watch(wo)man, or a werewolf for that matter.
This fits with me, because I’m a female physicist (male dominated field!), and people often think that I simply could not be a physicist.
Yes, I know its lame, but coupled with the fact that I can be as nice as pie until riled, makes me think that it fits rather well.
Mine is just a silly nickname. I post on quite a few boards and I like to have a unique nick for each one. Oh and I am a girl.
Yes, I have also wondered the significance of one’s user name.

Well, I pulled mine randomly out of a dictionary of mythology. Apparently, astorian did the same thing. I didn’t mean to confuse people, but I’ve been using this particular handle for quite a while as no one else ever does.
Somebody was talking about Secret Service code names for people they protect & asked a bunch of us what ours would be. Summerbreeze just came to mind. Having lived in DC thru several summers, I figured the SS would be glad to have one.
So, do you walk funny, too? I kinda picture something like a John Wayne gait, exagerated to the point that you’re moving sideways.

I always thought you were a 24th generation descendant of Ender Wiggin.
Maybe I was giving you too much credit. I always thought EXgineer was a play on endo versus exo. Now that I think about it, Exgineer would be a really good username for a divorce lawyer.
I have to admit, yours is one of the names I always misread. I always see it as lightNingtool. And, I never wanted to ask, because I was afraid it was a name hung on you by an ex, and related to a personal problem.

It’s a nice name. It’s a little unfortunately close to Summer’s Eve, to me, but that’s probably just me.
