Consider my query and the sentence immediately following it repeated here. Just because a person’s name isn’t an Arabic name does not mean that person is not Muslim. If it did have such a meaning then the vast majority of Muslims in Indonesia are doing a mighty fine job of faking it.

Plenty of automobile workers hate the Japanese, as do several WWII veterans of my acquaintance. My mentor in my old industry was, as a child, held captive in a Japanese prison camp during that war. His hatred of the Japanese was total and I seriously doubt he was the only one to have had his experiences who felt that way.
