Scrubs 11/01

Does the squeaky voiced doctor have a name yet? She may be my new favorite character and I think her telling Perry that speaking normally hurt her voice was the only real laugh out loud moment of tonight’s episode.

Fun-sized Intern.

I would happily trade the legions of one-note interns that have come through the hospital since the gang became residents for just one or two who actually have any kind of depth. Keith has been on for what, three seasons now? And the writers have yet to make him the slightest bit interesting or human.

I think the revolving door of interns is one of the things that keeps the show different and funny. From Slagathor to Snoop-dog intern/resident/attending.

I will watch this show to the end, but this episode seemed rather meh. I did like Janitor taking a moment to honor the fallen space goblins.

And, FWIW, JD did tell Kim he didn’t want to get into their relationship while she was in the middle of labor. And she did lie to him.

I do hope the final episode of the series isn’t JD snapping to from a daydream as he walks into Sacred Heart on his first day as an intern.

I could totally see that happening as a daydream-within-a-daydream fakeout.

Adding spoiler tags to speculations is more of a poster-by-poster and thread-by-thread choice, and we don’t have a hard and fast rule on that, but since ivylass placed her speculation behind spoiler tags, JSexton, I went ahead and added tags to your post, too, since you were replying to her speculation.

Fair enough. I thought my reply was sufficiently vague, especially since it was based on a hypothetical. But better safe than sorry, I suppose.

Another spoiler of sorts, via TWop recap:

Bill Lawrence promised Aloma Wright, who played Laverne, that if the show returned for another season, he’d have her back as Laverne’s twin sister Shirley. And it seems he is a man of his word

Hence, the very “familiar nurse” behind the mask.

Ha. LaVerne’s sister is named Shirley. Classic!

I agree that it was a mediocre episode. I still have a crush on Elizabeth Banks, so it is worth watching just to see her. (Even if she did stop calling me now that she is famous.)
