Scrubs 2/28/06

The Todd: China Town rules!

:we see infected areas around his mouth, crotch…and butt.

I love Sanchez! Too bad he’s gone. :frowning:

JD: I got an emerald stud in my peep!

Who is the actor that plays the intern “Cabbage”? I could swear I’ve seen him in something else, but I just can’t place it.

Thanks!

Cabbage (aka Jason) was played by Shaughn Buchholz

I enjoyed these episodes too. Gotta love the Todd moments!

I was bummed that the incompetent intern killed the nice old lady at the end.

Yeah, she’s not dead yet, and we’ll likely see her again, but she’s wormfood. Scrubs has never pulled any punches about killing off the nice patients. She’s not long for this world.

Scrubs is basically the anti-Grey’s Anatomy, which made the GA reference all the funnier.

So true.

What was the GA reference? Granted, I’ve never seen GA so I wouldn’t get it anyway.

I’ve never seen Grey’s Anatomy either, but in the show Elliott says to JD, “We should just go home and watch some Grey’s Anatomy on the couch.” Then JD says, “Yeah, I love that show. It’s like they put our lives on TV.” [all paraphrased of course].

I thought that was a nice dig at the voiceovers that Grey’s Anatomy seems to have blatantly lifted from Scrubs (complete with each episode’s unifying theme!). That was a hilarious moment.

Two great episodes! I loved the janitor/Cox friendship.

I cracked up when JD and Turk both realized what had happened in college.

Turk: “Do you mind if we don’t speak for the next couple of weeks?”

He looks like a younger version of Ray McKinnon, who played Rev. Smith on season 1 of Deadwood, but maybe that’s just because I’m in the process of rewatching it.

Actually, he seems to be hanging out behind my office. I just saw a Sanchez lookalike on the way back from lunch  .

Great episodes. My favorite line: “One of my interns just made a patient septic by confusing a suppository with a Mike and Ike.”

E.

Dr. Dudemeister!

Cabbage (not you wolfman!) kind of reminded me of the guy from the NBC sitcom Four Kings.

It was the hair style.

I’m so glad that Dr. Mickhead was acquitted!

-Joe

Michael Learned will be back - it said “to be continued” after she turned all neon green - and yeah, knowing Scrubs - they’ll kill her off and it will be Cabbage’s (not Wolfman’s) fault

Cox and Janitor in the bar - I thought for sure the show was going to take a “Brokeback” turn
