He should be aware of round 3; he responded (negatively) to my attempt to trade down to the Saints spot.
In light of our mock draft, I found this video to be interesting. It’s a “reenactment” where the Booyahs pretend to be in the Vikings war room and it depicts what happens while teams are on the clock. Oddly enough in their re-creation, like in our mock, the Bucs trade up with the Vikings to get ahead of the Browns and grab (I suppose) Trent Richardson. The price was a bit different, but it was interesting seeing how those war rooms work.
Anyone take a stab. Gotta pound these out to hit the end of the round. I would, but hard to research on my phone.
- Tennessee Titans
Vinny Curry, DE, Marshall
BPA and at a position of need. After getting Samuel in a trade and Reuben Randle in the second (and a first next year), they can focus on that defense.
Oak had the saints next too. No big deal I guess. Just figured with 7 picks left we could get through 3.
Olivier Vernon, Miami for Tennessee, maybe?
Looks like I had the same idea as Hamlet, but for some reason I thought Currey had been taken.
I was thinking Ben Jones out of Georgia, a center who could also play guard.
Nevermind.
It’s Tennessee’s first second round pick, so it’s actually the Bengals and It’s not Rocket Surgery who are next.
Oh. My bad. Guess we won’t finish then. Good run though. We’ll see how far we can go.
Sorry guys…I’ve been away from a computer most of the day.
If you want, you can certainly make the Bengals pick for them.
**83. Cincinnati Bengals
Chris Givens, WR, Wake Forest
**
**84. **Atlanta Falcons
**Brandon Thompson, DT, Clemson
**
I can’t believe he’s still available, I have him listed as early second round. He can set the line of scrimmage and draw double teams. I don’t even know if Atlanta runs a 4-3 or a 3-4, but I think Thompson can play both.
I was thinking the TE from Georgia for the Falcons, but this makes a lot of sense too..
- Detroit Lions
Nick Toon ,WR, Wisconsin
Lions need WR depth for their pass heavy offense.
I’m not going to be able to pick for the Pats tonight if it gets to me. Have fun watching the real thing!
Pittsburgh
Jamell Fleming, CB
Oklahoma
Last of their big needs filled, although could still use more OL and need a WR to develop. And a RB.
Really, Pittsburgh has a lot of needs.
Shoes and literacy, for instance.

Seems like just a couple years ago the Broncos took a QB in the first round, doesn’t it? Whatever happened to that guy? Oh well. John Elway gets the QB he wants to groom for the future.
