I look forward to the challenge. I’m having to figure who will be the hot hand at WR, as Case Keenum to Andre Johnson is a longshot. I’m looking forward to the return of Rodgers, which should be a boost for Jordy Nelson. Sadly, I have to find yet another tight-end, as all three on my roster are hurt.
Best of luck to you, Gaffer, just as long as it’s just a touch less luck than I get. This looks like a great match-up 30 minutes before gametime. I wonder what I’ll think in 60 minutes.
A complete failure by my team, top-to-bottom and bench too. Congrats, Gaffer.
Hey D_Odds, just got back to my computer this morning. I was checking scores all afternoon but couldn’t remember who you had started but thought that things looked pretty good for me, especially after D. Thomas and Garcon in the early games. In any case, thanks… but that sucked. Man, I definitely thought that was going to be closer than it was.
Great season, guys. Laying an egg in the final game always seems to happen, doesn’t it? Just highlights the randomness of the NFL week-to-week. Looking at your rosters, it’s amazing to see what waiver-wire work can do, as well as waiting for value in the draft.
Yeah, I was really struck by the roster churn last week when Peterson was out. Looking back, here is my Week 1 roster and my Week 15 roster. I’ve always thought that, generally, fantasy is comprised of 1/3 draft, 1/3 roster management (waiver, trades, start/sits), and 1/3 luck but, sometimes, it seems to really get weighed heavily in one direction. I would say that i didn’t have a great draft, but my roster management was excellent and I got super lucky avoiding the injury bug.
Week 1
QB: Andrew Luck
WR: D. Thomas
WR: Pierre Garcon
RB: Adrian Peterson
TE: Kyle Rudolph
Flex: Chris Johnson
Flex: Lamar Miller

My roster has barely changed over the weeks. Obviously, Owen Daniels had to be changed, but all the other skill players were viable week 16 starters. I figuratively flipped a coin on starting Colston or Baldwin, the latter whom I picked up just this week.
Week 1:
QB: Drew Brees
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Marques Colston
RB: Marshawn Lynch
TE: Owen Daniels
W/R: Jordy Nelson
W/R: Mike Wallace
K: Josh Brown
Def: Indianapolis
Week 16:
QB: Drew Brees
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Jordy Nelson
RB: Marshawn Lynch
TE: Dennis Pitta
W/R: Doug Baldwin
W/R: Mike Wallace
K: Phil Dawson
Def: Detroit
ETA: I got a draft grade of C by Yahoo! Shows what they know.
I’ll post the official ranks later when yahoo is done processing, I just want to get the scored totals down while stattracker is still up. Total points weeks 1-16

How about some sour grapes:
Drew Brees, W16: 281 yds, 1 TD, 2 Int, 6 sacks
Drew Brees, W17: 381 yds, 4 TD, 0 Int, 1 sack
Jordy Nelson, W16: 3/46 yds
Jordy Nelson, W17: 10/161 yds
Marshawn Lynch, W16: 71 yds rush, 0 TD / 2/5 yds rec
Marshawn Lynch, W17: 97 yds rush, 1 TD / 1/4 yds rec
The week 17 performances are what got me to the Championship. I don’t know what happened week 16, where the only guys beating predictions were a pair of TEs on my bench.
Damn it, I accidentally posted the new thread in the old league thread.
