Sorry I didn’t see this sooner. Doesn’t look too god I know.
Um… oops?
It may be early, but I can’t think of a better solution than this one. If you jump the gun, you should have to forfeit the player for 24 hours and anyone who wishes to, can claim him. Since I screwed up, I’ll give everyone 24 hours (from now) to make a claim for him, as proposed earlier. I’ll drop him if claimed, and SenorBeef can adjust the rosters so whomever claims him won’t have to wait the waiver period out. Starting… now!
As far as what happened last week - no one has spoken up and claimed interest in the player in question, so I haven’t reverted it. In the future, though, we’ll use the rule I proposed… that the player who was picked up before free agency started is made a free agent again as soon as I notice, and the original person who picked him up can’t try again for 24 hours.
I finally got around to getting the stat tracker thing. Pretty cool.
Opposites-Gridbirds was a very close game just a minute ago, about a point of difference. Washington’s garbage time TD hurt New England’s score though so he went from a 1 point favorite to a 6 point dog. Still a few players in play though.
So…did I pull out the victory? As much as I hate Mondays because it means that I have to work, I do love seeing how my fantasy football teams ended up doing.
As I wrote in our league message board, I am thankful I changed my mind and started LenDale White at the W/R position instead of Devin Hester. That gave me a little more margin for error in case Brett Favre laid a total egg against Denver. Not that I think it will happen, but you never know. Speaking of eggs, the Chicago offense must have celebrated Halloween early and disguised themselves as hens, as they were laying eggs all over the place Sunday.
My team really should be named in Brady’s honor. It seemed like everyone else quit on me this week. Its funny because after last week I said I would never start two guys from the same team again but the Redskins-New England match-up scared me away. As I said on the message board, I need some consistency that is more than Tom Brady. Week 10 is going to be special.
Frosted, if I hadn’t changed my mind 6 times, and started Lee Evans against the Jets, then I might be riding DeShawn Wynn tonight for the win. You got lucky that my bench showed up where my starters didn’t.
It’s a good day when my bye week starter at RB has a crappy day yet puts up 35.8 fantasy points. Another 160+ day for me… neither Winslow nor Braylon scored.
Sunday night is big for The Opposites and Chitwood. Chitwood has 62.30 points and Kevin Curtis and David Akers playing. The opposites has 62.06 points, Crayton, and Stover (Monday). Extremely close match.
Taz needs 35.04 points between Romo and Parker.
Jammers is down 32.22 points but has to be a favorite with Brown, Westbrook, LJ Smith, Barber, and Folk playing.
I’m 98% sure that I just lost this one. Oh well, its been a nice run. I should have put more faith in Fargas, but I am pretty glad that I benched the miserable CIN running back tandem.
By my calculations, I’m up by about 30-35, and you still have a defense. Even though it’s Baltimore, I’d be hard pressed to think they could stop Pittsburgh from moving the ball. Granted, stranger things have screwed me over.
This is the first week I’ve had a strong fantasy output from my QB, and from both my RB spots. If I had gotten ANYTHING from my WRs I could have had a great day. Regardless, I had a pretty good one. Now if I can only get my team to click all at once, I can start feeling confident about my chances to win this league.
The trade deadline is nearing, and I’m still looking to improve my team through a couple trades. Maroney, R. Williams, Harrison, and Bowe are available for a third RB and a quality WR (or two). I sure hope that there’s at least one more trade before the deadline!
Been a long time since I put up a 100 point week, and it happens when I face you.
I’m convinced that this league hates me. Lee Evans has turned out to be better than Marvin Harrison in the short run, though Travis Henry has disappointed since I got him, and may soon be another player gone for the season.
I’m hurting at RB, and I have no trade bait. I’m playing for a draft pick now.
