I lost a game once that way. Leading by a small margin, my QB kneels at the end of the game taking just enough points away to lose it for me. Most ridiculous loss ever.

I switched from Maclin to Massaquoi at the last minute because I had a hunch that Anderson was due for one of those days where he looks like an actual NFL quarterback, and cause I had no idea the Giants would let anyone pass all over them.
And Ronnie Brown put up 3 points! 3! I was debating between Thomas or Barber but I never seriously considered benching Brown. But damn, with Barber, McCoy, and even Moreno significantly outscoring him that hurts. I’m gonna lead the league in bench scoring again this week I bet.
Oh well, I still have a pretty decent shot at it.
Damn it. I was within a pubic hair of starting both Carolina RBs this week with Stewart in the Flex as opposed to Garcon. Shit.
I would really like to go into tomorrow nights game with a nice lead. As long as Brees does well tomorrow night I should be in good shape. The Giants miserable performacnce and Slaton getting benched helped me out a lot today.
Anyone else notice that something seems to be wrong with the feed of fantasy stats coming from the AZ-Car game in Yahoo’s Statracker?
Its driving me nuts in the other league so I just went and counted the points myself. It worked for about 10 minutes then the Statracker just died for only that game.
Well, the big trade isn’t looking so hot for me in the first week, with MJD ripping off 31 points on like 8 carries and Ronnie Brown laying an egg, and my original quarterback putting up a pretty good day even without an O-line.
On the plus side, Reggie Wayne is pretty awesome.
We’ve got a few good MNF matchups:
I need Pierre Thomas and John Carney to combine for 13.03 points to win. Which sounds easy, except it isn’t… somehow Carney manages to score like 3 points when his team scores 75, and Thomas is completely unpredictable at this point.
Quentin’s Jammers needs Colston and the Saints D to overcome an 8.76 point deficit and whatever Jeremy Shockey can score.
And now if Michael Jenkins can outscore Drew Brees then… yeah ok, only 2 games tonight.
An interesting side note is that in all our shared leagues, I’m pretty sure that was the third or fourth trade of yours to directly screw me over in the next week or week after. It’s a little uncanny how often you’ve traded with my upcoming opponent and that person you traded ended up being the difference.
My trade with Court Jesters looks to have, predictably, screwed me over in our matchup.
Just got home from class so I don’t know what’s happening in the game, but honestly, I’d be surprised if I came within 10 in this matchup. This is a brutal roller-coaster fantasy season for me.
Honestly this has never been a factor, I haven’t even looked ahead to see who my opponent was facing.
It’s just bonus.
