I’ll assume the draft is going on with 8 teams , if so, I’ll bow out and hopefully return next year in a larger league.
Sorry Dale. My thought process ended up being like - Okay, big league is short a player… didn’t Dale post about having time for a league? Oh, yeah, he did, okay, I’ll invite him. And that made me forget that you also made a similar post in this league page too - I mentally checked off the “recruit Dale for empty spot” checkbox when you got in the big league. We’d have still ended up with 9, though - fantasy interest has taken a complete nosedive in the last 2 years.
Oh, and if you guys want to use the mumble server for tonight, go ahead.
Well that was … interesting. With only 8 teams, and some crazy vacillation in values, it was unlike any other draft I’ve done. And that’s a good thing.
I kinda like my team. I got some good value (Dez for $41, Gronk for $12), I way overspent ($16 for perennial disappointment CJ Spiller?), and I like the cheapo/end of the draft guys I got (Steven Jackson for $1). My team would be amazing if it were two years ago, I have a lot (some may say too many) older guys that nobody else wanted (Colston, MJD, Steven Jackson, Ray Rice), but I think they were good value and are good depth guys.
But with only 8 teams, every team is pretty stacked. And I’ve rarely have done well in this league (outside of one championship), so it may be another long season.
If I get some time later, maybe I’ll do a draft review. In the meantime, I’m still pissed the site conked out for me for a few picks and I missed out on Tate, Jennings, Sanders, and Bell, all guys I had targeted as great value). Damn you internets!

Sorry that you feel I’m being greedy. Fact is I don’t really have a bye week problem. I have another QB who can play for me on my bye week.
I figured that you wanted Cutler, I really didn’t want Wilson, but wanted some depth at RB…thought my offer was fair, not really greedy.

You either have a bye week problem - Stafford and Cutler, your #1 and #2 QBs - with the same bye week or a roster problem with 3 QBs eating up 25% of your bench. I was figuring you’d want to move the redundant guy (Cutler) and then if you want to upgrade your RBs you’d be able to swap any of your 3 QBs to do it.
Bush is the 42nd ranked player (projected - significantly higher than both QBs) and Wallace is 82.
If you don’t like Wilson, that’s fine, but he was the 9th player by total points in all of FF last year. Frankly, you probably did me a favor.
Rob Gronkowski and/or Julius Thomas are on the trading block for a #1 WR or RB.
I’ve got Chris Ivory and Chris Johnson (both NYJ RB, week 11 bye). I’m willing to trade either one for an equivalent WR, preferably before the weekend.
Just bumping this to see if there is any interest in Johnson or Ivory for an equivalent WR.
Of course I decide to sit Fitzgerald and Brees this week. Only consolation is that Crowley’s Bentley decided to sit Gronk.
