True, I meant that I believed that it was that comment that was the last straw - he’d been warned earlier that morning for his behavior in the coffee thread, and clearly didn’t take much heed of it.
Oh good, it wasn’t just me. He was a jerk, but some of his posts were pretty funny. Like I found his coffee store rant to be really funny, and the outrage of other posters about the coffee thread to be even funnier. And I’m sorry, but the remarks in the Katrina house thread were totally appropriate considering the actions of the family in the link. He was brusque, yes, but he was also right.

There was a vco3 thread wherein he bitched about some pet owner making a euphemism for the death of his dog. The dog had moved onto the rainbow lands or some such glurge.

Because the vB software only supports the word “banned.” One can be banned for a limited number of days or banned permanently Since a banning for a limited number of days looks and feels just like a suspension, we refer to a person who has been banned for a temporary period as suspended.
It would require extra work on the part of the Admins to manually changed the title from “banned” to “suspended,” then to change it back from “suspended” to “member,” so we just let the word “banned” hang under the name for thirty days.
As to why there is not a thread in ATMB, I could not tell you as I was not involved in this situation.
