Well, I’m starting out this season same as I ended last season, and that’s not a good thing. I’m going to go cry in my pillow about an all-around horrible week 1 now.
I started Monday down 70 points and I have a realistic chance to win with Torrey Smith and Phil Dawson. Dawson just missed one though.
First place, sons. Well, almost. Court Jesters pipped me with Mike Wallace garbage time production. I went 4-0 overall in SDMB leagues this week, and won in my other (money) league too. flex
On a separate note, I need a third wide receiver (actually, I need a second wide receiver so I can make Steve Smith my third). Ronnie Hillman and Lance Dunbar are available.

Carlos Hyde?! Whodathunkit? Not complaining though…well, a little as I was facing him elsewhere, but I had already lost that game before Monday same as I though I had lost this one.

Apparently, I am the only guy that played the league pick em game this week. I shame you all with an astounding 6-4 record after Week 1. Or maybe I just shame myself. Meh.
Thursday night games kill me. I used to do that on Sunday morning while scouring the player list for matchup potentials. Now, I just look at my team on Wednesday or Thursday and make a note if I have any players active that I might need to bench/activate, but all my research is still done on Sunday morning. Too late for the Pick 'Em.
Same with me. I love the Pick 'Em mini-game but it locks out after the Thursday night game and I always forget about it. I will definitely get a few weeks of play in but I will probably end up forgetting about half the time.
Still looking for a wideout. If it’s someone really good, I’m willing to trade Lamar Miller or Mark Ingram at this point.

Not a bad start! I’m hopeful I can also put Jason Witten and Carlos Hyde out to pasture for a couple of weeks based on near-successful injuries on Sunday, although I might need to have Witten decapitated to even get him on the “Questionable” report.

I’m starting Mariotta today, since Brees is out. Need a big game from him.
It’s rare to see a D/ST trade but I’ve got two good ones with Denver and Arizona. I’d like to upgrade at QB. It’ll probably have to be a multi player or 3 team trade to make something like this work, but I will be looking at possible scenarios and if you’ve got trade suggestions, hit me up.
