Yeah, my bad on that one. I’m on the west coast, so I think of it in my time but then realize I have to translate it because we usually list things in east coast time. So I was thinking “we used to start the draft at 8:30, we moved it up to 8 a couple years ago so it’d end a little earlier, but sometimes people on the west coast would be a little late when we started that early, so it’s probably not a big deal if we move it back to 8:30 like it was”, but I got careless and switched my mental time zones. I was never proposing we move the draft to 3 hours earlier (which would be way too drastic a change), but just a half hour later like we used to do it.

I’m fine with 30 minute later start - better for me because it gives more flexibility for post-work commute.

I picked up two players from /r/findaleague on reddit. I told them it wasn’t a requirement to make an account on this board to play in this league with us, but if they happen to be interested in that, feel free to make an account and say hello.

I’ll see if I get any more players from that post, and if not, I’ll do my best to post around tomrorow and pick up the last two.

Alright, good news, we’ve got the league filled up to 20. I had to recruit the last 4 slots from reddit, but I’m optimistic they’ll be more attentive than random yahoo players and make it to the draft with us and play out the year with us. And if they do, of course, they’ll be invited back next year.

The draft is in about 3 hours, 20 minutes. I’m going to have to miss the first 20-30 minutes unfortunately but that’s not such a big deal in an auction draft. I’ll still have plenty of time to spend all my money.

I too may be late, but I dont plan on spending $72 on Barkley, so I’ll be fine.

I’m sure this is all fresh in everyone’s minds, since we just had the draft last night, but remember to check your roster today. The first game is tonight, and I’ve screwed myself a few times in the past by forgetting a Thursday night game and having the wrong guys on the bench.

Added unused draft money to FAAB budgets. I’m supposed to do that after the draft but I forgot unti now. 7 players got some extra money, with the largest amount being 16.

I should be honest, I hate my draft. I sucked at it this year, saving up money for the end instead of buying the guys I want. I like the value I got, but hated the overall draft. I suck at the RB position, and I have two WR’s who, while good value, won’t be playing for 4 weeks. Wow, I did a crappy, crappy job.

At least I won this week. Gotta love fantasy football.

Not playing, but kinda missing it.

I’m wondering how much a superflex slot would affect things in a 20 man league. No bench extension. Just one more player and no more QBs on the wire. I’d probably love/hate it even more than I already do…

New this season are the Everyone vs Everyone records. I can re-arrange (or remove) any of the 10 individual tables, both up or down and left or right, so if you can think of a better way to present this let me know and I’ll try it out. Right now I just stuck with the same 3 rows as last year plus added the two new EvE rows inside a spoiler box to limit thread clutter.

For this league in particular, I’m thinking maybe ditch the coach grades since your rosters are so thin here there isn’t a whole lot of agonizing over who to start.
