You could prove me wrong in this very thread by admitting that there’s no evidence for a genetic link to the “achievement gap”. Then you’ll get the apology you so desperately crave.

I did not ignore those studies. I was unaware of them. Where are there studies that indicate that black behave and perform as well as whites? The example of Nigerians immigrants is an interesting exception to the prevailing pattern. Nevertheless, the vast majority of Nigerians who immigrant here already have college or trade school education, so they are not a representative sample.
I’m talking about the studies that show, in some European countries, no achievement gap. I’m not going to dig them up, though- my main point is that none of this says anything about genetics.
As a science experiment, you’ve made a Hypothesis about why the achievement gap exists. But you’ve gotten no farther- you have no data to support your hypothesis- there’s no genetic data at all for this.

On a major topic which he has thought about for years? I doubt it. There are major issues on which I’ve changed my mind, but that took place long before I was posting.

I have posted several studies that indicate that blacks in England tend to perform less well in school than whites.
The study by psychologist Klaus Eyferth is often mentioned as evidence that there are no genetic reasons for the race gap in the United States. However, this study was limited to 181 white and mixed race children of German women and American servicemen after the war. There are other problems with the study.
Arthur Jensen has pointed out that the white girls in the study obtained an average IQ eight points below that of the white boys, suggesting a sampling error, because in the WISC standardization sample the average IQs of boys and girls are equal (among the mixed-race subjects in the Eyferth study, there was a small sex difference of 1 point, favoring boys). He has also noted that the IQs of the children’s mothers and fathers are unknown, and that white and black G.I.'s in Germany were not equally representative of their respective populations, since about 30 percent of blacks, compared to about 3 percent of whites, failed the preinduction mental test and were not admitted into the armed forces…
