Has there ever been, or has there ever been any discussion of a SDMB convention? Is it a good idea?
There’ve been discussions of regional gatherings, and a few have come about. A grand DopeCon 2000 was bandied about, but discussion flagged with St. Louis (?) leading Las Vegas by a little bit.
Don’t know if you’d call them “conventions” but there is usually a lot of drinking going on.
