I didn’t actually figure that I’d be in it by myself for the long haul. We have a pretty well-developed three-way balance of power going at this point, I think. I was trying to be misleading about the strength of my position. That’s actually pretty much all I’ve been doing in this thread (You guys are so sneaky! Gasp!).

Is anyone else having trouble loading the map at http://www.wooleysark.com/dip/983/S06.html ? Every time I’ve tried to click on it today, I’ve gotten the top inch of the map, and the move orders and outcomes below where the map ought to be - but a big blank space where most of the map ought to be. (Europe’s been wiped out! Details at 11. :)) I’ve even gone so far as to close the browser, clean out the cache, reboot the computer, and try again.
It’s not a huge deal - mostly, it means that I’ll have to wait until I can get home and set up the board before writing up my move orders, which I’d planned to do during lunch.
RTFirefly, no, I’ve had the same problem, on both my machines at home, the one at work, and two at school. Exactly as you describe, and it even inspired me to reboot my home desktop for the first time in days (and I was working on an AIM record, too – I had been signed on for almost 4 days). I don’t think it’s us.
