We need an army of yours in Serbia. I’m willing to support Trieste in there if you think that will work out, we can’t take Rum for now and if we did he’d only retreat to Ser anyway. Next year though Russia will be in a very bad way and we should be well placed to strike, especially with my (re)build.
I will consider it. However I’m going to require a show of faith from you as well. I’ll support you into Ven if you move you fleet in Belgium to the English Channel in order to get a fleet into the Med. England will likely resist this but I think he’ll agree it’s the only reasonable way to get your navy involved in the south, and you getting involved in the waters to the South is the only way the three of us can cooperate.
Nope, not too crazy about that at all. This almost certainly means I build a fleet in London, understand.
Omniscient, here’s some suggested longer-term agreements; I’d appreciate your feedback:
Demilitarize both Ska & Hel; long story short , I cannot place more than one fleet which can impinge on either Holland, Kiel, or Denmark, likewise you cannot have more than one fleet adjacent to the North Sea. You build no more fleets (for at least the next 3 builds), likewise I build no more armies. I mentioned the division of spoils in Russia in an earlier post-as I said, I think I’d be more comfortable with Sweden & St. Pete, you with Warsaw & Moscow, which of course assumes a lot of trust when the time comes, but doable-we both are reasonable people. Deal?
Unfortunately this looks to be a waiting turn. I can’t leave Trieste uncovered, and I need two units to protect Bud. Moving an army into Serbia this turn is impractical. I suggest:
A Bul-Ser
A Gre-Ser
F Sev-Rum
F Aeg-Ion
I haven’t quite decided what I am doing yet, but for secrecy’s sake it would be best if I keep quiet.
I’m amenable to all those ideas. However it’s entirely contingent on France’s cooperation and I’ll need you to help facilitate that. I just can’t make a commitment against Russia so long as France is fully positioned against me. The Fleet in Belgium is a constant threat to both of us and his forays into the south will be utterly useless without naval support. I don’t wish to have you and I dispatching Russia in the North while Turkey grows to control the entire Med on his way to 18 centers. It’s pretty clear that neither of us can really do anything directly to harm Turkey.
The other option is of course a coordinated attack on France between us both. You must concede that a growing France poses the greatest threat to you in the long term of all the countries.
France–
While Germany and England would both benefit from taking me down, the battle would likely cost you both in the long run.
England, if you are willing to let me move my fleet from Bel to ENG, with my assurances that it keeps going to the Med, I would be most grateful.
That being said, I would hope that Bel does not get snagged out from under me during this rather critical time. With England applying pressure to Russia, Germany and I against Austria, and myself building in the Med, we can counter the growing threat quite nicely.
So I’m looking at a move into Ven, supported by GErmany, in exchange for my (very brief) F Bel - ENG.

Tristan, I was 100% sincere about our alliance until Russia intercoursed it all, but given the current board positions, how things seem to shaping up in the East, and where my future expansion opportunities seem to lie at this point, I’m going to have to throw my lot in with Omniscient. I know you’ll be pissed at me, and I am sorry about that, but I see no other reasonable choice for myself. If I dig hard into Russia’ northern flank, yeah I’ll get another center likely, but that will be about it; I simply don’t have the armies to do a major land campaign. I hope you understand if nothing else.
Okay Omni, I have to ensure my build right now, but in the spring I’ll go west with most of my ships. We can hammer out more concrete longer-term plans after the fall moves; right now I guess you’ll support Italy in place.
Very good. I will need to take a little time to determine what the best course of action is in the south. Also I want to think a little on what the best course of action is regarding France. While there are low hanging fruit in Russia to be had I’m not sure how long we can be content to stalemate him especially with that fleet nestled between us. Let’s do some head scratching, I think we need to be careful not to allow ourselves to get too out of position while poaching SCs from Russia.

How interesting. And here I was thinking that the 3 of us would work together to crush the Austrians, Italians, and Russians before we had to fight amongst ourselves.
Well then… Austria, would you care to assist me instead, that I might go down fighting? While I would have loved Ven, instead if you can support me against the Germans, I’ll be more than happy to help you with your troubles once the German is crushed like the Kafka-esque insect he is.

Understood, and for both our sakes I’ll acknowledge that I’ve read and understood this, and will base my plans on it but may vary slightly if I think it best. 
Greetings all - just to note that, for some reason, I am unable to access the boards from home (which is where my gaming happens) and my time at work is limited. Not that it matters much, since my imminent demise seems likely… This was the reason for my relative inaction last turn, I was unable to communicate with anyone and barely able to submit my moves in time.
I know that you’ve all decided that I’ll be easy pickings, and given the above, this may be true, but rest assured that it will take some effort to overthrow me, and this is effort that could be better spent toward the west, where the war (as opposed to this battle) will be won or lost.
More if I am able to…
