a couple of things.

  1. I have a request for leniency from England who missed a move off, which turned up in my inbox just after I had posted the latest update. Should I include it with the German retreat tonight?

  2. As the amount of actual on board diplomacy has lessened, shall I speed up the game to be 2 nights instead of 3?

I’d say use your judgment. If England could have seen the posted moves, then don’t process. If he couldn’t have seen them, then process it.

I’m fine with quick deadlines.

On my honor I didn’t see them, but if someone has a problem with it I won’t argue. That’s what happens during a long work day when I (a) thought we indeed had 72 hour main (non retreat/build) turns, not 48, I (b) hurry home for a short lunch break, note the deadline is a day earlier than I thought, so I © hurriedly put in my orders, during (d) a driving rainstorm where my power may go out at any second, only (e) realizing after I went back to work that I forgot about poor little fleet London (who only had one logical move in any event).

I will point out that, up to now, we have had 72 hour turns, not 46 1/2 as was the case here, so it looks like the GM already proactively changed the deadline anyway (hence I don’t grasp his question #2).

I am willing to call it a draw after the builds come in-Austria may get St. Pete but that’s about it; Turkey is stalemated in the west. I may need to support France’s A Mar in place to ensure the draw, so you’re welcome Tristan.
