I am fairly sure that Mince is the one we are missing. He has not been on the message board since late Tuesday night. I have emailed him. Hopefully, we will hear from him soon.
First, I hope whatever is causing Mince to be AWOL is nothing serious. That said, he has not shown up and we need to get things going. So, I am going to give until this evening for either Mince to sign up or someone else to request to join us and sign up. If neither of those things have occurred by this evening, I will go ahead and start the league with 9 players.
So, if you are interested in joining our league, please PM me and tell me the email address to send the invitation to. Also, please sign up as soon as possible once you have received the invitation.

Mince, did you sign up to the league with a main email address, or a throwaway? You can go back in and change it to your main, and we won’t see it. That way you’ll get timely notifications that your pick is up…

I posted a message on the board at the fleaflicker site and chose the option to have it emailed to the entire league. Can one of you confirm that you received that email, because it did not get sent to me.

I did not - but I also don’t have “email me when any message is posted on my league’s message board” checked off, which is the default.
I don’t want to push Mince, but is there going to be a maximum draft pick length? At some point we’ll have to do something, right?
I’m not sure what tools they give you. Can you move someone to the end of the round or something if they don’t pick for 8 hours?
I specifically checked the “email to entire league”, though. I would think it would send those, just not notifications of regular messages.
Since my email the other day did say I planned on starting the draft on Saturday afternoon, I am not going to do anything right now. I think I will make a rule that after a certain amount of time, I will draft for you. I will use some sort of set rule to decide who to draft. I figure we can start with a fairly long amount of time and then shorten it if necessary as the season gets closer. I assume that we are all in the US (or at least North America), so I would not require picks after a certain point in the evening until a certain time in the morning.
What do you feel is a reasonable time to give people at the beginning?
I can’t change the position, but I can make the draft pick for them.
I also meant to mention that I will be traveling tomorrow (and maybe Sunday). I think I will have fairly regular access, but if I (or my son) is a bit slow in drafting, that is why.

I’m not too worried about the draft right now - once we get into Round 3 or so, people will get a feel for what to expect, who they’re targeting, the fact that they’re in a draft, when the next pick is up, how long picks should be taking, etc.

I’m pretty impressed with how cellphone-friendly the draft function is. I was worried I’d have a hard time wrangling with it, but my pick went very smooth. I’ll want to get a queue going later in the draft so I don’t have to dig much for sleepers, but I don’t think it’ll be a problem.
I never played baseball on fleaflicker before but I was in reddit’s 1000 team fantasy football league that used it. It’s not as polished as some others but it had some unique features and was very mobile friendly.
