It’s not just me. The three highest scoring teams are out of the playoffs. This league is broken.
That’s just the nature of head to head weekly scoring, it really has nothing to do with this league specifically, probably 95%+ of leagues use head to head matches.
Most leagues don’t have divisions, however. Without divisions I’m in the playoffs.
I’m just ranting because this has happened to me twice now. I can handle it happening once to me with some dignity, but now I’m an old man yelling at clouds.

It’s reverse order of finish. The consolation bowl winner gets some FAAB but not a higher draft pick. Playoffs determine the last 4 spots, consolation bowl the 4 middle slots, and the first 4 picks are already set (Dale, Omni, Justin, Ol’Gaffer).
Oh I just noticed you had the lowest overall score which may be why you’re asking. We’ve always used seeding / wins based positioning for the draft and not factored in total score, though that would make some sense to do it that way too.

Rome Odunze was declared active, so I switched him into my starting lineup with two minutes before kickoff. Then six minutes after kickoff, Yahoo sent a notification that Odunze was actually declared out during pregame warmups. Fucking awesome. I love fantasy football
I’ve never seen that happen before. I thought the active/inactive list had to be set hard at an hour before the game starts. It’s not even a yahoo thing, apparently the bears only declared him inactive minutes before kickoff.
Being an out player on your starting roster you’re eligible for having him unstarted, I assume you want that? Given the unusual situation I’d like to be able to give you some sort of relief in the form of replacing him with any other player, but we drew a pretty hard line about not swapping in players whose game had already started. So I’m going to go ahead and unstart him on your roster and you can replace him with someone from a later game.
I went ahead and unstarted Odunze on your roster, you can do whatever you want with the starting spot. That’s the best I can do – allowing you to choose a player in a current game would be obviously problematic.
I was considering starting Drake Maye over Josh Allen today on the basis that the Pats are coming off a bye week and would be a tough matchup for a beat up Buffalo. Unfortunately I didn’t pull the trigger because Josh Allen has won me so many games it’s ridiculous. Maye is having a HUGE game with 2 rushing TDs already.
Josh Allen is closing in one the career record for the fastest player to achieve 300 all purpose touchdowns.

After being an 85% projected favorite at some point today it’s back to 50/50 for Ellis and I. Save me Brandon Aubrey.

Most likely whoever loses between Ellis and I will significantly outscore the winner of the other game.
