Incidentally, I want to make this clear Omni that my argument here isn’t personal, I have no animosity towards you. I want to make this clear in light of the fact that you seemed to think I was aiming to screw you over in the all pro draft, so it may seem like a pattern, but it’s not.

2018:
Varlos has SenorBeef’s 2nd round pick
SenorBeef has Varlos’ 3rd round pick
Misc:
Ellis Dee sends Isaiah Crowell to Beef for pick 2.04
Oh, and Varlos, Retro said he’d send you a PM with a list of candidates at 3.11. I thought he meant his earlier pick in the third round, but given that he’s been gone for 2 days traveling, he might’ve actually sent you candidates for 3.11.
One more clarification. Several players don’t have a draft pick, instead a player is kept, so I think we just skip that pick and keep incrementing the numbers, if I recall our normal method.
In which case the 4th round is actually
4.01 dale
4.02 Varlos [from Retro]
4.03 Jules
4.04 Ellis
4.05 RNATB
4.06 Justin
4.07 Hamlet
4.08 Omni
4.10 Stringer
The two last picks were formerly “From Varlos” and “From Beef” but the players who received the picks are keeping a player in that spot. So the pick vanishes then, I assume?
Cooper Kupp was the guy I was looking to get, so my previous offer is off the table.
I wanted a QB, so mine is too.

This is how I had them ranked too. But I’d also go with Mahomes/Watson/Kizer if someone asked “would you prefer to draft Trubisky with the #8 pick or Mahomes/Watson/Kizer 20+ picks later”?
I kinda assumed that. I also wondered with these “my last pick in the draft” trades, does the team giving away their last pick just do without a guy on the roster spot until waivers opens up (after the draft and after the IR draft)?
Retro has been on the clock for 20 hours. In six days we’ve made 34 picks, which is around 4.25 picks per day. I don’t actually know how many picks we have to go, but I think it’s in the mid/high 20s including the supplemental draft. At our current rate, we won’t finish by kickoff.
Let me know when the skipping starts and I’ll post my 3.12 pick then.
Trades are balanced. You either get a draft pick or a player in place of the “last pick” you’re trading away, so there’s no hole to fill.
Erm, uh, yeah. 4.25 hours per pick, I mean.
Alright, so Varlos has been gone since last night. Retro has been gone for 3 days. In post #143, Retro said he intended to send Varlos a list of picks to be made for 3.11. Varlos didn’t report whether he did or not. Which sort of means we can’t skip - Retro may have done the right thing by sending Varlos a list, and Varlos may have forgotten about it. Retro would then get screwed if his guy went before he gets back.
I think we have to wait on Varlos - either to make the pick for Retro if he got a pre-rank list, or to tell us he didn’t get such a list and we skip Varlos.
Sorry made it to my destination, and finally got hookup to the WiFi. Ill pick in the next 30 minutes.
I did send a pm witg picks.
P.s. The Wifi/data in Australia sucks. It’s taken a day for the hotel to fix/turn it on and that happened only after I threatened to leave. I’m also in a major city/nice hotel.
3.11 Dede Westbrook WR Jac
I’ll PM ellis in case you’re having trouble with it.
Thanks. I sent one but having to go thru a VPN for security reasons is making this crappy Wi-Fi even slower.
Jeez, there’s actually four guys I like here, though the BPA on my sheet failed to make a 53-man roster. The question is, who will be most likely to still be there when I pick again at 4.04?
Adam Shaheen, TE, CHI
PM to dale sent
EDIT: I think Shaheen would probably still have been there at 4.04, and he’s the only one who was technically a reach on my sheet, but it turns out that I like him the most of the four I was considering.
Matt Breida, RB, 49ers
May as well double down.
I didn’t think that, we’re good. I’m attacking your terrible ideas, not you.
Fucker.
I was really fired up to draft Golladay, think he’s a steal there, but with 4-5 picks to go I was kind of hoping that someone would take Golladay ahead of me so I could take Shaheen in the 3rd. Both because I think he’s good and because I wanted this group to lose their shit at me taking 3 straight Bears rookies.
No, I can understand. Who wouldn’t want to go all-in on that Chicago offense? It’s going to be a powerhouse for years to come. If you want I’ll give you Cameron Meredith for your first next year.
I’m sure I, with the 8 straight playoff appearances and 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 championships have no idea what I’m talking about, nor do those 30+ people and dedicated sites who try to analyze dynasty rookies and all unanimously disagree with you. Terrible ideas indeed.
In any case, good luck this year. I’d like to see new people in the playoffs, aside from me.
Alright, so Varlos has been off the boards for about 34 hours and it has been his pick for about 16 hours. And we’re running behind. I’m going to say that we give it 2 more hours and if he’s not here, then Jules can make his 4.03 pick. Varlos can step in and make his pick at any time from players who haven’t been drafted up until the moment he does.
So, Jules, you’re up at 10am eastern.
