Nope. But I will move Kaepernick.

Well I’m down two of the league’s best receivers before the season even started.

Jordy is a huge blow, sorry dude.

When is the cut day?

Ok, I’m back from break – what a trip that was! First visiting family in Alabama, then off to Disneyland (the girl they have playing Merida is just impossibly hot), then Tijuana and points south in Baja. Saw the Panama Canal, Risa, then a few days each getting to know Fillory, Endor, and Narnia, before wrapping it up with a fun and profitable weekend in beautiful Atlantic City, NJ!

Or, no, wait – either that, or I’ve just been generally bummed and procrastinating even my recreation for most of the past month.

But no matter, feeling better now, and I’m eager to get things rolling. A nice bit of schadenfreude helped, when I heard the news about Jordy Nelson: SenorBeef is my biggest inter-division rival in this league (in my eyes, at least). And, more importantly, I now own Green Bay’s #1 and #2 WRs now, on a team with Aaron Rodgers and no other established, legitimate receiving threats?
Anyway, continue making your cuts. I’ve set the deadline for 12:00 midnight (Pacific) Thursday night (giving us all of tomorrow and the next day), but we can move it a little if absolutely necessary. Then the draft will start basically as soon as we’re ready after that, probably within 12-24 hours. Getting down to crunch time, we are.

For now, I’m cutting Ben Tate, Benny Cunningham, Justin Blackmon (:(), and Tampa’s DEF. That would give me 3 picks, but I’m on the fence about a couple others.

Just for fun, here’s what my lineup looks like at the moment:
Cam Newton
Tony Romo

  • Johnny Manziel

Doug Martin
Giovanni Bernard
Jonathan Stewart
Reggie Bush

  • DeAngelo Williams
    Danny Woodhead

Calvin Johnson
Randall Cobb

  • Emmanuel Sanders
    Sammy Watkins
  • Davante Adams
    Larry Fitzgerald
  • Charles Johnson
    Michael Crabrtree

Greg Olsen
Zach Ertz

Stephen Gostkowski

Baltimore
Carolina
Asterisked players are those that are on the block (though all of the non-premium guys are very gettable if you think a Larry Fitzgerald or a Reggie Bush is somewhat undervalued). Note DeAngelo Williams will be Pittsburgh’s starter for Weeks 1-4 while Le’Veon Bell serves his suspension – does anyone want to let me move up on the draft a bit in exchange for his services? Petey?

I’m late to the thread, but I need to chime in with a big me too here.

I’ll be in Nashville for my annual IRL Fantasy League fiasco. Thursday and Saturday I will be boating all day and have pretty spotty access and I’ll be on a plane and/or rip-roaring drunk on Friday and Sunday.

I’ll try and get my picks in and make arrangements for some provisional picks when I can.

EDIT: Now that I’ve read the whole thread, seems like everyone has conflicts all over the place. Seems like the draft is still planned for the weekend per the latest PM, but I’ll advocate for a 8/30 start just in case it’s still in the air.

Add to cut list:

Jax Defense
Darren Sproles

Well, so far we have at least four guys who’d prefer to start the draft Monday-ish. That’s fine with me provided that (A) that’s not a lot more inconvenient for some other players, and (B) that we all solemnly swear to draft in a timely fashion.

I’ll leave the cut deadline as is for the moment, pending further discussion. It might get pushed back a day, but do get those cuts in on Yahoo anyway.

It’s not problem to change the name. I’m actually surprised the league hasn’t already had a name change (excepting Omni when he took over Mad Hermit’s team). Come up with something good!

QB
Andrew Luck
Blake Bortles

RB
DeMarco Murray
Andre Williams
James White
Ronnie Hillman
Lance Dunbar
Christine Michael (Maybe)

WR
Julio Jones
Golden Tate
Torrey Smith
Cecil Shorts III
Nate Washington
Danny Amendola
Aaron Dobson (Maybe)

TE
Kyle Rudolph
Dwyane Allen

K
Matt Prater

DEF
Kansas City
Dallas

Cuts
Tim Wright
Donald Brown
Jace Amaro
Wes Welker (Hmm…Green Bay?)
Phil Dawson

If we do push back, Sunday evening might be a good starting time. Could bang out a lot of picks from the couch while nursing our hangovers…

Man, that’s not cool. I don’t go rubbing in injuries when someone is already down.

Heh, you’re right, sorry about that. Really I’m just jazzed about Cobb/Adams moving up.

The morning of Sunday 8/30 appears to be the best all around time to start, taking into account both our availability and also the preseason schedule, since most of week 3 will be played on Saturday.

I’m cutting Pierre Thomas, James Jones, Jairus Wright, Brian Hartline, Boobie Dixon and the Detroit D/ST.

I can’t figure out how to make cuts on yahoo, so just posting here:
Keep:
Ben Roethlisberger (QB-Pit)

Carlos Hyde (RB-SF)
Isaiah Crowell (RB-Cle)
Rashad Jennings (RB-NYG)
Steven Jackson (RB-Atl)
Victor Cruz (WR-NYG)
Jordan Matthews (WR-Phi)
Donte Moncrief (WR-Ind)
Jarvis Landry (WR-Mia)
Tavon Austin (WR-StL)
Corey Washington (WR-NYG)
Mychal Rivera (TE-Oak)
Larry Donnell (TE-NYG)
Mason Crosby (K-GB)
Buffalo (DEF)
Pittsburgh (DEF)
Giants (DEF)
Jets (DEF)

Cut:
Geno Smith (QB-NYJ)
Andre Roberts (WR-Was)
Jerricho Cotchery (WR-Car)
Jordan Todman (RB-Car)
Ted Ginn Jr. (WR-Car)
Preston Parker (WR-NYG)
Cody Parkey (K-Phi)

Keeping 19, drafting 6.

I’ll give you my second-rounder for him.
