SDMB Fantasy Football DYNASTY League: Year Seven

As I recall, you tried me to bet my wife’s punani during the draft. I’m pretty sure that’s not ethical either.

Yes, I’m kidding. Though if it was anybody but you I might seriously think about it. Okay, not really.

I mean, I made a concession that it would require her consent.

She’d be putting out next week, by the way, since Robinson is at like 940.

Yeah, he’s been pretty good, especially considering he’s played through an injury. At least 4 catches and 50 yards in every game since week 1 (when he was matched up with Josh Norman).

I’m not sure about my ability to tinker with my lineup this weekend. Is there any chance we can push through mine and dale’s trade so I can get Johnson in my lineup this weekend?

I’ll do it in just a bit.

My sweet Aaron Rodgers, I know it has been a rough year for you, and I forgive all. Tonight is the night in which you do what we all know you can do. I just need 3 weeks. Pass it to the ghost of Jordy Nelson if need be. Now is the time.

Ok, those two trades have been entered. Hamlet, I had to move Steve Smith to IR in order to make room on your roster, just so you know.
I sent trade feelers to five different people yesterday morning. Still waiting on responses from most of them, but it seems that all I’ve accomplished so far is to inspire the recipients to meet their needs elsewhere. :stuck_out_tongue:

FFS, 0.4 points.

Yeah, it got better. If I lose to you because of that goddamn Hail Mary I’m going to break stuff.

It’ll be really fitting if Allen 1000 Robinson is what does you in.

It looks like it’s going to be more than one player that does it. Good thing I still have dale next week or I’d probably be missing the playoffs.

It may not be a good thing for you as I intend to win, playing spoiler is always fun.

The hubris!

Now everyone is rooting for Dale.

I think Cam Newton just knocked me out of the playoff hunt.

I’m not saying you can’t win, just that it’s a good thing I have another game. You’ve actually outscored me two of the last three weeks and you won’t be far off this week.

My team is finally coming together for the final weeks. 170 points, even with Gronk out due to injury and Travis Benjamin getting injured early in the game.

Ellis Dee made up a ton of points (65ish from Roethlisberger and the Steelers D) to take an unlikely lead over furt. Furt just need 7 points out of his kicker (Hopkins). It’s likely, but definitely not a certainty.

If Furt manages to lose, I’ll hold onto my own destiny since I made up the point gap between him and I this week by a decent bit. I would be win and in. If he wins, then I need to win and he needs to lose next week. If RNATB loses next week and I win, I win the division. He’d get the wildcard.

Right now I am projected to beat dale’s best projected lineup by nearly 30.

I’m dependent on two Cardinals receivers. Cards/Vikings on a short week Thursday night. If the Cards stomp the Vikes like the Hawks did yesterday, I could get some very nice numbers from Brown/Floyd. If it’s a Thursday night low scoring stinker of a game, I’ll start looking at next year’s draft!

I’m surprised the project gap is that big. You’ve outscored him by a total of like 12 points over the last 4 weeks.

Still, RNATB, you’ll make the playoffs either way. So let’s keep the wildcard in our division. Don’t give your players any heroic speeches or anything before the games.

Well, let’s not go crazy. If my team totally shits the bed and furt goes nuts (and he’s had some big games) then furt could claim the wild card. So if it’s all the same to you I think I’ll try and win.
