I don’t know whether it’s rational or not, but for whatever reason this league consistently overdrafts rookie RBs compared to other leagues/ranking sites. It’s why I wind up with an elite WR prospect almost every year, and also why my RB corps is always a disaster: I just can’t pass up the bargain WR I never expected to fall so far.
Anyway, I’m looking to acquire some draft picks and/or move up. Players I’d be interested in trading in exchange for draft consideration include:
TE Zach Ertz
WR Larry Fitzgerald
QB Johnny Manziel
WR Michael Crabtree
WR Charles Johnson (26 year old starting WR)
RB Reggie Bush
RB DeAngelo Williams (Remember, he’s Pittsburgh’s starting RB for the first 4 games; a valuable short term asset for a contender who could use help at RB.)
RB Danny Woodhead (available at very reasonable rates).
I also have the 2.6, 3.6, and 3.7 picks to work with.
I’m interested in the end of the 1st Round, of course, but also all of the 2nd and even the 3rd in some cases. If you have any interest in trading back/out and any interest in some of these players, hit me up.
Davonte Parker. Sorry for delay. Write up later. Spotty cell service. Can someone notify next up?
I got it. Petey is next, PM sent.
Just happened to log on and see it’s my turn. Seems like the obvious pick:
1.11 Nelson Agholor, PHI
PM sent to Stringer?
Oh, scratch that, dale is up. I’ll PM him just in case.
David Johnson-RB Arizona… PM sent to furt.
I’m willing to move back up into the top half of round 2. Of you see something fair you want on my roster, pm me. Either straigh up or just swapping picks.
Is pick 7 high enough?
We can talk when it gets closer and someone I want is still there.

I need a running back more than I need a WR, even given the injury/suspension issues I have this year. Trent Richardson is officially busto, Ryan Mathews got a backup job, I’m pretty thin.
But RBs go so fast in this league that who should be a top-5 talent fell to me at 10. I would’ve either have to have reached for a mid-second round RB early otherwise. The value was just too good.
But my roster is imbalanced. I’m willing to trade for a running back.
On offer are Demaryius Thomas, Jordy Nelson, Josh Gordon, Martavis Bryant, Cordarelle Patterson, Allen Robinson. Thomas would demand a top young back, Nelson or Gordon could be mad for young RB2s or somewhat older RB1s, the rest would need young players with potential. Hit me if you’re interested in any of them.
2.1 — Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Tenn
Whom autocorrect thinks should be named “Dorsal.”
Swinging for the fences, eh, furt? (I’ve finally done my draft research, so now I actually know a little bit about these guys.)
Btw, just so I don’t make myself anxious wondering every time, when making our picks we should be sure to point out who’s next just so we know the reminder PM has been sent.
Kevin White WR - Chi
PM sent.
With the 15th pick in the 2015 SDMB Dynasty Draft, Hamlet selects …
to trade it away.
RetroVertigo gets this pick, in return, I get Knile Davis to back up Jamaal Charles. I’ve seen up close how bad a year can go when you lose a stud player, so I’m backing Jamaal up.
RetroVertigo is on the clock. PM sent.
Great pick, Retro. As I said, I don’t like his outlook but he’s a superb value here.
From where I’m sitting, you’re thinner at WR than you are at RB. McCoy, Ellington and Mathews are a pretty solid starting corps. On the other hand, half your wideouts are suspended or hurt, Patterson has totally fallen off the map, and Robinson hasn’t even played a full season yet. I do like Parker as a long term prospect but you really needed someone like Funchess who will draw targets right away.
Having said all that, I’d make you an offer but I am not 100% comfortable with my top two RBs (Ingram and Miller) as every-week starters. Talent-wise, certainly, but not necessarily scheme-wise.
I’m jealous, I was hoping he’d fall to 2.5. But that was probably unrealistic.
I’m in meetings all day. I’ll try to have this in by mid-afternoon.
