Matchup of the week:
HamletponglIjtagha’ vs 4th and 19 (Wilson)

Daunte Culpepper vs. Donovan McNabb. It depends on the defenses-can the Giants contain Culpepper, and can the Ravens
defense survive the shredding McNabb can give? Hamlet is depending on two iffy running backs while Wilson has Emmitt Smith,
man of destiny! The teams match up well, and it will be decided by which SuperQB shows up to work.

Outlook:

No one is out of it, but Rhinosaurs, 4th and 19, and the Mullet are in the driver’s seats. Week 11 and week 12 will shape
the rest of the playoff picture with these teams. Hamlet is Culpepper’s biggest fan, most likely sacrificing a goat so that
the gods favor Daunte to break Marino’s (and others’) passing records.

Sleeper team: Varlos’ Zzzzzzz. He’s not going to win it all, he’s just the sleeper team.

I’d just like to point out that I have 448 points, which puts me at sixth in the league, and I’m currently riding the longest winning streak in the history of the franchise. You heard it here first, The Balls will finish in the top 10!

Top ten! Top ten! Top ten!

Also, I got David Carr in like the 55th round.

So, thinking about the draft next year, I’m thinking my best bet would be:

Round 1: Tiki
Round 2: Curtis
Round 3: Shockey
Round 4: Pennington

The reasoning being that New York receivers are a crap shoot; getting Tim Carter and Wayne Chrebet is every bit as “good” as Santana Moss and Amani Toomer, so it wouldn’t bother me to lose out on Moss and Toomer. Moss in particular.

The only issue I’ll have is whether Tiki goes in the first round before me; is that likely? I believe Curtis in the second should be an easy pickup. Pennington isn’t a great FF guy, so him in the third should be easy as well.

When do the top TEs usually go? Certainly not by the third round, right? As an added bonus, Tom Coughlin can’t utilize a TE to save his life, which explains why the Jets’ TE2 Baker is outperforming Shockey so far this year. (Yesterday on NFL Live, on the ticker they list the top 10 performers at each position for the week. Shockey was not even on the list for TEs.:()

Any thoughts?

Also, if Jordan is lost to free agency, would it be worth wasting the draft pick keeping him to trade for someone like Toomer?

And one final note: whomever has Eli, what would it take to trade for him? Perhaps I can forego Curtis to pick up trade bait…

If I go through another season without Tiki, I’ll have to poke my own eyes out.
