I suspect FJax will be the short-yardage back in Buffalo next year. I expect McCoy to have a nice season getting fed the ball regularly, but double-digit touchdowns again is probably a pipe dream.
Jeremy Maclin with the Chiefs makes me want to vomit a lung. I’ve seen enough of the Alex Smith show. No receiving touchdowns all season!
Yeah I’m definitely avoiding Maclin in redraft unless he is crazy under-ranked. I am happy about this news for my boy Albert Wilson…I think he’ll get a lot of looks if opposing defenses focus on Maclin and the Lord of Checkdowns Alex Smith continues his trends.

Niners fan here also. I don’t know, they were still very good last year while missing Willis and Bowman. With Bowman supposed to be back next season and the addition of Dockett I could see them adding a 3-4 DE in the draft and still being a top-third of the league DST.

You can have him. He’s never been worth a second round pick with the Chargers, and I don’t see any reason he will be now.
In related news, I don’t understand what the flying fuck is going on in Chip Kelly’s head. Yes, Foles had a bit of a down year but the Eagles gave him away for a guy who’s never had an up year. Not only that, the Rams actually pocketed a draft pick or two as a result of the deal. Bradford is due $13 million this season; Foles is due one tenth of that. Am I nuts, or is this the dumbest trade ever made?
I could understand the McCoy trade, but the Foles trade makes absolutely no sense. Straight-up? Maybe, but once you throw in the draft picks…
Even straight up it’s a terrible trade. I happen to think Foles is a far better player than Bradford, but even if you value them evenly (and frankly, even the biggest Bradford homer won’t argue that he’s objectively more valuable than Foles), Bradford costs $12 million more this season.
Now, as Foles’ dynasty owner, I’m actually relatively happy. Philadelphia is shedding offensive talent faster than you can say “college coaching bust”, and the Rams have some talented weapons who could mature into stars. Plus, they play on carpet.
As a Bucs fan I was really hoping we’d trade the #1 pick for Foles and some later picks so they could draft Mariota.

Ah, the consolation bowl did go 5. Stringer 6. RNATB 7. Petey and 8. Omniscient, so I guess we did agree to order those by the consolation bowl. I totally don’t remember having that discussion/rule for this league.
So it looks like the last 4 finishers in the standings get draft positions 1-4 in reverse order, 4-8 go to the order of finish in the consolation bowl, and 9-12 go to the first 4 finishers in the standings in reverse order.
Vincent Jackson, Joique Bell, Daniel Herron, Jordan Reed and Martellus Bennett are officially On The Trade Block. I’d also be willing to move Julian Edelman at the right price (he finished 14th in scoring at the position last year despite missing two games.) I’m looking to package a couple of these guys and possibly some draft picks to secure an elite player at WR or TE.
