This is just like your non-existant “constantly harping on how good my TEs” thing, when I said once and the end of last season and once at the beginning of this one that I’m looking to trade them.
That was me exaggerating. But you declare your team “the best team on paper” at least 3 or 4 times a season. More when it’s actually true (to be far, you really did dominate the Big League last year).

It just means you’ve all created this idea of my behavior that isn’t actually seated in reality, or you could find the posts where I’m doing what you say instead of just finding posts by other people saying I do it.
I’ve never said my team is the best team on paper in this league, I’m actually always talking about how shitty it is. In other leagues, I may rank my team highly when I’m comparing all the different teams in the league (specifically in the big league someone said no one could compete with Varlos’ team, but I thought I could, and compared them), but then… I was right. I was the top scorer in the all pro, auction, and big leagues.

We argued about James Jones over a few posts, so it doesn’t make sense to say I’m harping on it when we’re having a back and forth discussion about it. I did make one or two joking references to it when he had a big game.
But even so, as a callback, it’s self depricating if anything. It’s a joke, ffs. I was the one saying James Jones was going to be the Packers receivers to own, not Nelson, so it makes no sense for me to brag about Nelson in the same way. It indicates that I was wrong.

You inherited an iffy team with few starters and not much upside; not an enviable position. Of course drafting Naanee over Dez Bryant, Dexter McCluster over Sam Bradford, and Jabar Gaffney over Ben Tate probably didn’t help much.
Worse yet, I inherited a really OLD team. And yeah, I certainly didn’t do much to fix it last year. Last year I went short term in hopes of competing, maybe I learned my lesson this draft.
