So, Rodgers, I was joking about resting my starters…
What a game so far. My QB has 1.45 points, and he’s outscoring yours…
Yeah, all that talk about high-scoring teams and who’s good and who’s not is silly when this game will likely be decided 86-85.

The first game of the years where the Packer offense gets shut down and it has to be in the fucking playoffs.
I have to wonder if the fantasy gods are punishing you for your hubris. They’re definitely punishing me in HHM.
I tend to think that the world doesn’t reshape itself just to piss me off. Otherwise it’d be more flattering than irritating - I mean, the outcome of entire football games watched by millions just for me?
I’ll probably end up losing, but I like the turn around my team had by making the playoffs, after the first couple seasons being pretty awful.
I don’t think it counts as self-centered if you think the world revolves around fucking you.
Damn it, your QB was at -1 points well into the third quarter before he put up 17 in garbage time.
Scores evolving as I post
I have an 8 point lead, McCoy, Demaryius Thomas, Gronkowski and Ryan Mathews left to play. Justin Bailey has Vincent Jackson, Frank Gore, and Gostkowski.
I think it’s going to come down to whether or not Vincent Jackson has one of his boom or bust games.
Stringer and Retro are tied. Stringer has Vick, Rice, Hernandez, Antonio Brown, 49ers D, Retro has Brady, Greene, King, Bush.
My optimal lineup is already over 150, so I fucked that up. Benched Moore for Thomas is the biggie. Could’ve started Bell (edit: Or Ball) over Blount but that would’ve been a pretty big gamble, can’t really blame myself for that one.
Damn it, wrong TD Brady.
I have a 41 point lead and Ryan Matthews against Justin Bailey’s Vincent Jackson and Gore.
One of Vincent Jackson’s out of nowhere huge games could screw me in two leagues.
Stringer needs 4 points out of Ray Rice and the 49ers D to beat Retrovertigo.
Headed to my 3rd straight title game, feels good.
Nope…
Maybe it can be 147 to 146 if you get 54 points out of Gore
Stringer wins, no final score yet. The predicted epic showdown is lined up.
So I’m concerned about the Packers losing. It was pretty clear that if they were going for perfection I’d get a full week out of the starters next week, but now? If Pittsburgh wins tomorrow GB has the #1 seed locked up. Man would that be a shitty way to go.
An ESPN crawl I saw a few days ago hinted the Packers were planning to rest their starters yesterday if the Denver game turned into a blowout. With perfection gone and the #1 seed a more or less forgone conclusion, I think you’re in trouble.
Well, if the 49ers win, the first seed is still up for grabs, so I don’t think they’d rest in that case - unless they were up 30 or something.
I managed to put up 150 this week without much help from my Packers, so even if they only play a half I might be alright.
How is McCoy/Matthews looking as a young RB combo?
I thought that couldn’t be right when I read it, but holy cow, you are! And to think, I ranked your draft 6th in the first season thread.
I would actually be pretty disappointed if the Packers rested their starters. I want to beat Beef at full strength, I can’t handle an entire offseason of excuses.
