We’re full up, so that’s good. I know no one has responded to my idea about a late draft positively, but I just may not be able to work it in any earlier. So I figured we could turn that into a positive and have different knowledge/strategies for a post-week-1-draft. I actually think it’s a pretty good idea - we’re all drafting 2+ leagues this year - this one is meant to be different, and how the draft values quickly change after shit hits the fan would do more to differentiate this league from others.
Missing the first week isn’t a real big deal to me. Yes, it would it be ideal to get the draft in prior, but shit happens.
I’m starting (finally) to prepare for this draft. I see it’s a deep roster, lots of starters, and two QB. Should be an interesting change from my norm.
The draft order is set right before the draft, correct? And I can start up to 3 QB’s if I include the QB in the flex spot, correct?

I’m just not going to be able to find a reliable time to draft before week 1 that wouldn’t run up against existing drafts. How does Tuesday the 11th work for you guys? Maybe 9pm-ish eastern.
What’s wrong with the current time? Yeah, it’s an hour before the big league’s draft, but with 6 owners, it should be done in plenty of time (even with the expanded rosters).
It’s going to last longer than an hour because while we only have 6 owners we draft double sized rosters, so it’ll still last as long as a typical draft. Or less I guess since most of us are fairly quick and decisive, but I’d hate to run it against another draft.
Plus I think post week 1 drafting would be interesting anyway. We’re all gonna be drafting 2-5 other leagues with the same knowledge, why not have one that requires a strategy adjustment based on seeing what happens when shit hits the fan for real? I think it’d be interesting.
We could move it up an hour to better accomodate 2 drafts in the same day I suppose, but that’s a lot of drafting in one go (the big league can easily last 3 hours) and as I said I’d actually prefer to have one more twist to further differentiate my leagues.

Again, I think there’s an upside - week 1 will be more interesting for fantasy research, and your draft strategy will have to adapt.
I likely have some family obligations to take care of tonight, and I have no problem drafting next week and missing a week. I just need to know one way or the other.
I’d prefer next Wednesday, as I typically have a standing engagement on Tuesday nights, and I’ve had to skip out on it the last several weeks.
