As are you, Suzie Q! I value a lot of people here for various reasons, but if someone asks me who the strongest and most optimistic (against the odds, at times) person on these boards would be, there could be only one. And that’s you. I have great respect for you, the way you manage to get through everyday life and its struggles, and the way you bring up your great son.

Well, I don’t have many. I just don’t make friends and stuff easily, but anyway. . .
I’d like to thank Welfy for chatting with me and everything. I really appreciate it, especially when it seems I don’t have anyone IRL to talk to.
Along the same lines, I’ve gotta thank Silver Fire too. It’s nice to be able to talk to people who don’t judge by appearances, and I appreciate that.
Also, everyone else in chat (I know, I know, keep chat and the boards seperate. . .well, blah!). All the regs there, WoodThrush, Falcon, MrCynical, Joey, Odie, Ura, Una, Smeg, Max, and Kilgore. I know I’ve forgotten some people (that’s why I said “all the regs there”) so don’t be mad.

Just to name a few. You’ve all been absolutely great to me since I wandered in onto this board, and I’m honored to know ya.
I’m sure there’ll be more that I’ve forgotten, but I’ll remember eventually! Honest!
If I tried to list all the Dopers I consider friends, Good Goddess, I’m sure I’d win some sort of prize for “World’s Longest Post.”
But there’s two I’ve got to mention in particular. Elelle, my Sin Twister, for helping me through the single most emotionally tough time I’ve ever experienced. Without her, I don’t know if I could have made it. Thank you, elelle, from the very bottom of my heart.
Then there’s xploder. He caught a lot of flak here recently for a thread he started about a dog that showed up at his house, and his views on animal rights. I’ll start by saying he kept the dog. He only looks gruff. Sometimes I find myself wondering just how his heart can possibly fit in to his chest, because it’s just so huge. I am truly honored to know him and his family.
As for everyone else, let it suffice to say that if you’re reading this, most likely I think of you as a friend, whether we’ve spoken off the boards or not. If I’ve actually met you in person, I am better for it, and if I haven’t, I want to.
