I would like to do a horror movie review every week. I’ve noticed the weekly comic discussion goes over fairly well. So, horror geeks, let’s give those that are not in-the-know a personal doper guide to blood, gore and general gut-grabbing goodness. If anyone is interested, post your ideas here or email me and let me know what you’re thinking. I like a 1-10 scale rating system better than a 1-5, but that can be debated. What were looking for is a standard system we could use to review, then break down to an overall score. Hopefully we could have at least 4 or 5 regular reviewers, and then citizen reviews and debates about how horrible of movie critics we are. We’ll need rating categories, volunteers and plenty of gorehounds/horrorfiends abound.
Anyone interested? (aside from ye old Cap’n?) Who out there wants to join the SDMB Horror Movie Cult of Doom?

I’m surprised at the lack of responses to this thread. I know that there are plenty of Dopers who are fans of the late late show, the million dollar movie, creature features and the rest.
Doc, thanks for the congrats. I’ve been trying to reserve my 2.5 years of posting privs for meaningful things. I have yet to triumph. (There are those who think this is a direct result of me posting while intoxicated. For the most part, I say ‘Pshaw!’ Then I read some of my post and say “Oh…yeah…”
Anyways, I too know there are way more horror mongers out there. I’m especially looking forward to IndyGrrl and a couple of other diehards. Come on, Doc and I aren’t the only sick freaks around here are we?
