Well, ive been gracing this site with my presence for almost a year now, 99.9% of the time with my PS3, I like to sit in my room at 5am with nothing else to do but read various posts. However, within the last 5 or 6 days, within 2 minutes of being on this site, my PS3 ‘bricks’ and I am forced to hard reset the Playstation! Then just thinking it was a firmware problem, I came downstairs to my PC and get on, and it froze my PC twice, just today! Am i just having bad luck, or is there something more sinister at work here? Hmmmmm
The SDMB never freezes for me- maybe it’s you, or your connection?
No idea what the answer to your question might be, so I’ll move it to ATMB where it might get one.

I didn’t know that anybody actually uses that PS3 browser.
I did for about a month while I sorted some connectivity issues in my PC. Dark times indeed.
With a USB keyboard it would be tolerable.
Oh, hell yes. The thought of using it without a keyboard died about 5 minutes into that month.
It is a pretty crappy browser, but at least it supports Flash, unlike the iPod/Touch/Pad.
On a HDTV with 1024x768 resolution I’m pretty happy watching web video on my PS3 occasionally.
Now I want to go home and try it. Or maybe I just want to go home.
Sounds like you might be having some issues on your end.
The fact that you are having problems with more than one device in your house – especially when nothing has happened here that would affect your situation, as I believe is the case, as we have had no upgrades or anything similar – tends to make me think something is amiss at your connection.
Please look at your devices, check your settings, and try again.
Sorry to hear you’ve had troubles.
