Perhaps a moderator could close this thread, and then re-open a duplicate an hour or so before the debate begins. Do you know anyone with such powers?
And now Trump has announced that he’s not prepping for the debate. Given that Anderson Cooper is a Clinton News Network anchor, (per the Republicans) Trump may well go off when bated by Anderson. Debate suicide, but real possible.
Not only that, but many Republicans are threatening to make a u-turn if Trump blows this. With a month left, Hillary may need do nothing more than smile and wave at the camera.
Given the latest video of Donald Behaving Badly, who wants to bet on any of the following happening:
- Trump is a no-show at Sunday’s debate for some reason.
- He shows up and the audience refuses to ask him any questions.
- He shows up and tries to say it’s somehow all Hilary’s fault and gets roundly booed.
- He shows up, but asks for a “bathroom” break half-way through to powder his nose. That’s what he did during his “pretend” town hall the other day. I seriously think this guy is self-medicating to keep himself going. My prediction is that he will have some kind of medical collapse in public over the next few weeks.
The switch should be in the hands of the candidate. In the form of two electrodes they hold on to. If they let go, their mic shuts off. When their two minutes are up, the voltage starts to ramp up. They can talk for as long as they can stand it.
That’s why they call it live debate. 
No need to rig something up; us lighting folks covered this years ago with the DMX512 Shock Collar.

I’m thinking of going with Not Showing Up At the Debate at even money. Too many distractions, intentional attack by lamestream media on behalf of Crooked Hillary makes the debate impossible.
There is zero chance he misses the debate or doesn’t get asked questions. Get real.
Showing up and blaming everything on Hillary is a given. Just like denying all the stupid stuff he’s done or come out in favor of. Plus a side of word salad.

Will Trump cancel? If he’s smart he will. You know this will come up and bite him hard.
There are no good options here. They cannot, according to the rules, just dump him, he was nominated. They can ask him to vacate the nomination. He may remove himself to spend more time with this divorce lawyers. But they can’t actually remove him, short of the Ramsay Bolton “Kibbles and Bits” approach.
So then Pence? Problems abound, he’d be a fool to take it, I think. He may gain those nauseous Republicans who want to vote R, but the actual Trumpivik base is very suspicious of the Pubbie “leadership”, they will be pissed! If they refuse to vote for Pence or anybody else with an ®, I’m guessing the Pubbies get clobbered even worse than if they stuck it out with Trump!
Plus, what happens with early votes? Throw them out? Or just throw out the ones for Trump? So, the Dems keep their early votes and the Pubbies are boned for theirs? I certainly cannot approve, except for the valid neutral justification of voter confidence.

More to the point that this guy isn’t preparing as he should, i listened to Katy Tur (trump pool reporter) on Keeping It 1600, (recorded around 1pm today), saying she was looking forward to the night off since Trump was going to spend the evening debate prepping.
Well, he didn’t get to do that.
I don’t think Hillary needs to bring up Trump’s latest debacle, at least not out loud.
It would be funnier if, when she walks to her podium, she reaches into her pocket, and, with a shit-eating grin on her face, puts a little container of Tic-Tacs up there.
