I found that mutual coastline error quite entertaining and it made my usually forgiving GM temperment a moot point. Quite satisfying I must say.

No, the problem lies in the fact that I’m off on Sunday and Monday, and finally get to see the game on Tuesday night. So I messed up Tuesday evening/Wednesday night, and got my orders in on Thursday morning, probably around 3am PST.
And oh yeah, the decadence is nice. And the Turk, for some reason, had to leave a bunch of dancing girls. Makes up for the skittish livestock.
And yeah, where’s that third party analysis? I liked that !
hmmm i think i pretty much count as third party analysis these days - i’ll knock up some comments 
and thats where i left my dancing girls. I’ve been looking for them everywhere.
I may as well do some third party analysis, it’ll help when I’m ready to play. (Usual disclaimer: I’ve been in 3 Dip games, all of which were abandoned after F02.)
I would’ve expected Austria and Russia to team up and kick Turkey out of Sev. So why did Austria move into Galicia? Could it be… a stab?
The A/I is a touchy alliance. Shibb and Soup are giving a good example of what happens when it works well. Just watch your back, Il Supe. This is Dip, you know.
The west almost always becomes a 2 on 1. Tough luck for Royal that e’s the 1. Thanks to sudden aid from Shibb, Germany could survive a little longer.
Russia could survive as a northern power… or could get into a war with England, and get knocked out by the de facto A/E.
The midgame looks like it’ll be E/F vs. A/I, at least until someone tries a good solid stab. (IIRC, Shibb has played Dip before, so my money is on Austria being part of the stab and not its victim.)

Hey, I’m not complaining. The point of this was to teach the n00bs, and I’ve certainly learned quite a bit about the game. I’m eager to play again…
