anyone have a decent sunset i can walk off into?
We can probably whip up a good sunset. But what theme music will you use? Gotta have a good song to walk into the sunset by.
How about “Dueling Banjos!”
I was thinking more along the lines of “My Way” as rendered by Sid Vicious, but that might work.
Leaving already?
By the way, I’m going to have to ask you to fill out the appropriate travel visa and papers before you walk off into that sunset. I’ve got the West under strict control these days and no one gets through without approval.
Strict control?
Bah. The times, they be a-changin’!
Bis naechste mal, Herr Sultan, ich trinke was Raki heut’ in Ihre Ehren!
To be honest i’d avoid using frames if at all you can/ they are bloody problematic at the best of times, and nine times out of ten you can create a better design without them.
Out of interest what is it you are trying to achieve? i.e. what are you hoping to gain as a benefit from using a frameset.
:smack: note to self - don’t post to wrong thread
luckily i stopped myself before the GQ thread on html got my account of me walking off into the sunset to the sound of Frank Sinatra…
Personally, I would love it if the Sultan would visit the glorius capital of Moscow again.
We have a court that would like to talk to him about some mass graves we found.
What’s this leaving the game gracefully before it’s time crap?!?!?!
Anyways, the webpage is updated and moves are still due tonite at 5, less than 12 hours away.
I’m more Napoleon than Hitler
We’ve got a deadline an hour away and I’m missing a whole stack of orders. Lets snap to it folks.
Wow. That’s quite the front you have there, Shibb and Soup.
The first time I read this as “Wow. That’s quite the font you have there…” and I kept looking up at our previous posts and wondering WTF you were talking about. Must be the sleep deprivation.
Oh, the front, yes, well I figure we’ll all just have lots of fun with charges into machine gun fire, fixed bayonets, mustard gas, etc. What’s any good WWI simulation game without it? Or do you refer to the naval blockade of the Mediterranean? Might be slow going for France for a while.
Don’t forget the cardinal rule of juggernauts (regardless of heading): never let your partner outpace you!

When I told my ex-father in law about the SCA, and related it to his adventures in Civil War re-enactment, we mused for a while on the idea of a WWI re-enactment group.
We decided that the idea of setting up and living in a mud filled trench for the weekend sucked too much.
/hijack
nah - you guys can’t have a proper world war without the germans - it just isn’t the same.
Naval blockade, shmavel shmockade. Just watch what I can do with a mere two fleets.
[sub]for example, I can run away really fast.[/sub]
Actually I was referring to the way the two of you have a nice vertical line of units stretching from Silesia to Tunis. It’s like a Christmas-colored brick wall, right in the way.
On a more important note:
I will be leaving town this afternoon and will be offline throughout the weekend. I will be back in town through Thursday, and then I will be off to celebrate Easter in the shiny and brightly-colored city of Las Vegas. (Don’t tell my mom, she’ll crucify me.) I’ll be back online, although possibly way behind on email, on Tuesday, April 22.
Deadline approaches and I’m still missing one set of orders.
JayLa, I’ll take it into consideration in the upcoming deadlines, please let me know if I don’t give you enough time.
Well, if you just move that one Army from Gascony, or wherever that is, over to Marseilles then you have pretty much the same effect only in powder and medium blues, all the way from Norway to Africa. We may have to begin proposing DIAS pretty soon if this lines up the wrong way.
Heh-heh. But I think the crucifixion comes on Friday, right? My brother’s birthday is on Good Friday this year, and don’t think we’re not tempted to get out the lumber and nails…
