On the Atkins diet I have started, pork rinds figure prominently in the snacking arena.
My wife won’t give them to the kids because she doesn’t want them saying they want pork rinds when anybody can hear.
yeah i think they are pretty much the same thing. Must admit i’m addicted to them.
Fishy crispy snacks seem to be the latest fad though.

I did not mean to give any impression otherwise. I was just referring to the lengthy press during the game, and WL has been more than courteous since demise in 1046.
From my perspective, the beginning game was a little skewed by the Black Hole of Germany. R/T launched the Juggernaut from the start to counteract what they believed to be a close alliance between Italy and Austria. That would have been nice, but Abe Babe was holding back and didn’t quite believe that R/T were in cahoots.
Subsequent to that I tried to recruit Germany into slowing Russia down and begged her to do certain things, and while she was agreeable, typically the orders actually sent were invalid. I believe after that R/E/F destroyed poor Germany rather than risk further uncertainty.
I’m not sure what happened to France. Had 8 and then R/I/E just gutted the poor guy. At the same time, Abe Babe did a nice diplomatic job of convincing WL to break from the Juggernaut (or at least that’s how I perceived it). At that point, I was down to one, but since WL had broken the Juggernaut he was now looking for allies against Russia. That allowed me to grab a lifeline.
After that, Shibb threw me another lifeline, and I basically rode that to the end. In the meantime, I was bad and attacked those who helped me most, Turkey, Italy, and then Russia.
I believe the ending to have been certain, but ultimately I did not feel that an Austrian “win” was the proper outcome. I felt Shibb did the masterful job in controlling the outcome of the game, and thus the vote for the DIAS.
That’s where they look first.

Second of all, with the way you eat, your wife should be glad your kids ask for pork rinds.
