Sdmb nfl mock draft

Well to be fair, the previous 18 all suck.

The Raiders already got their RB, so they’ll go O-line, with Ed Wang, OT, VA Tech.

Catching up and starting off the new page.

Omniscient with the Bills are next.

Just to state again, after that big, long post:

Round 4
8 (106) Raiders - Ed Wang, OT, VA Tech

Athletic left tackle prospect that has been rising on some boards.

I wanted to make a trade offer, but you’re too damn quick.

The Bills decide to stay local and get Campbell some help on offense.

Buffalo Bills
107) Mike Williams, WR, Syracuse

Is there a rule against trading with yourself as GM? The Panthers want to move up in the 4th and is willing to give up a 7th rounder to trade with the Jags. the Jags have a couple guys on their list, so they’d be willing to do so. Can I trade with myself?

Anthony Dixon played at Mississippi State, not Ole Miss.

I got no problem with it.

The math according to the draft value chart adds up , give or take. The Panthers should give up either their second 7th-rounder or a 2011 7th-rounder, in addition to #223

I was actually just C&Ping Hamlet’s list but hopefully it can be updated next time around. I wonder if he’s maintaining a spreadsheet with the info so we can slice and dice it after the draft.

I’m pretty sure that the compensatory picks cannot be traded (otherwise the Panthers would’ve sent a 6th rounder). Their 7th rounder next year sounds good. , so we can do it this way:

If no one objects, the Jaguars will trade their current pick (108) to the Carolina Panthers for the Panthers 4th rounder (112) and their 7th rounder (#223) and their 7th rounder next year.

The Panthers (happily) select Tony Pike, QB, Cincinnati

Nice pick. I had my eye on him.

I was going to go up before the Bills pick to get him, but real life timing was off. I really coulda held my own feet to the fire and gotten more, but I wasn’t sure what I was thinking.

I don’t think teams IRL put much value in 7th rounders. I kinda doubt the Jags would have made that deal, but it works for fun.

IRL, I think the Panthers would’ve easily given a 6th next year, hell maybe even a 5th, to move up for Pike. If it helps, we can call next years pick a 5th through 7th conditional one. It was only 4 spots, and I really doubt the Bears, Fins, or Titans woulda taken him. I was mostly worried about the Bills.

I’m not loving the way the board stacks up for the Bears here but they absolutely have to get the best DB available at this spot. I can’t imagine them going away from the Safety position with this guy left on the board.

Chicago Bears
109) T.J. Ward, S, Oregon

The Dolphins stick with the defense and add another young athlete to their secondary. He could be a steal at this spot.

Miami Dolphins
110) Quentin Scott, FS, Northern Iowa

I had him typed up for the Eagles’ second third round pick and changed it with my mouse hovering over “submit.” I was even confused when you selected him, thinking I had taken him myself (that’s how close I came to picking him). I think he’s going to outperform his draft position, almost where ever he gets drafted (realistically).

A lot of the analysts and Bears beat guys are speculating that the Bears will have to choose between Mike Johnson and T.J. Ward in the 3rd round, and even then they might need to trade up to get them. I’m not really seeing both guys being gone but if they were able to end up getting both IRL I’d be stoked.
