I’d tell you all about it but then we’d have that all-way tie for first place thing happen.
Mine will probably be the winner of this match-up Dallas/San Diego as my pick. Unless something happens between now and then that makes me change my mind. Anyone have anything to tell me that I should know about? Did I miss anything important on either of these teams off-season? 
All I know is that Drew Brees is damn good, no matter how quickly everybody tried to write him off before last year.

I am traditionally Very Bad at pick-em and Very Good at suicide football. Which of course means mediocre finishes for each. Either way, I am in.

The Suicide Football worries me. I think I’m thinking too hard (there’s a giveaway) about it and I have a feeling my strategy will backfire and leave me hanging in the wind.

I won the SDMB pick 'em league last year (or one of them, if there were two). Ran away with it starting around Week 6.
I expect to do the same this year. As long as I keep myself in contention long enough for THE SYSTEM to accumulate enough information and take effect, I’m a lock. If you’re all really lucky, I might even describe the incredibly intricate particulars of THE SYSTEM after I’ve won.
Ooh, I notice that the pick 'em league does not include confidence points. I think they make the league much more interesting – is anyone else in favor of adding them?
