It took me like fifteen minutes of figuring to realize the league didn’t use spreads… that was alien enough to me.
Either way, I think it’s too late to change at this point, with so many people involved and the first game tomorrow night.
Yeah, I’ve never really liked confidence points. Can’t really say why, but it just seems to me that without them, every game seems important, so that you can’t shove a game you’re unsure about to a 1 spot or something like that. Nailbiters and all, or something.

Sorry, I went in and tried to edit the deadline, but you can only make that change before the deadline actually occurs. I’m not certain why it’s set so early…I don’t believe I changed that setting, and I’m pretty sure it defaults to “five minutes before the first game”.
The only other thing I could do now is reset the board, forcing everyone else to resubmit their pick. Somehow, I don’t that that’d go over too well.
Looks like the deadline is set in the overall league rules for Suicide. Only thing I would recommend is putting the separate deadlines in the OP in the future. I would have eeked out 5 minutes to join yesterday rather than this morning, thinking I had sufficient time.

That’s just brutal. I’ve never done a suicide league before, but dropping 22 (possibly 23) of 27 people in the first week… that’s gotta be abnormal.

Yeah, that was a heapin’ helping of ugly. Would all but one of the survivors mind losing next week so we can have a Week 3 restart?
I did completely horrible on both pools. On the plus side, next week can’t be this bad again (I hope).

Really though, there’s no reason the few left from pool 1 couldn’t also join pool 2 if they wanted, is there? If so, why not try and get pool 2 going in time for week 2.
