Really? I guess growing up in this area I’ve always heard the name and assumed everyone everywhere had too; same thing w/ Bob Seger. shrug
Wayne State University’s main campus is located on Woodward Ave in Detroit and there are 11 satellite campuses around Southeast Michigan. It’s a fantastic school, not that I have a bias or anything! Its medical and law schools are well-known and overall it’s the most notable and thriving thing in the city right now, unless you count Kwame’s PR machine.
I’m going to be a senior next year in Nutrition & Food Science @ Wayne. The t-shirt I sent is in our school colors.

Ah, phooey, I dropped the ball. I was going to confirm the t-shirtlessness of the suspected orphans, and send out some irate emails to their purported senders. Haven’t done either. Keep an eye on this space for the “adopt-an-orphan” program in a few days.

Well, what? You want me to be mega sad I didn’t get a t-shirt? I don’t really care. No one needs to make an extra effort for a t-shirt for me. It’s not important.
Sorry I didn’t get back sooner, I mailed electrozion his T-Shirt. I hope it’s warm enough there to wear it when it arrives. I had another one picked out but this one has the coolest logo on it I couldn’t resist.
Got an email from altiod saying she’s gotten the t-shirt that Portia sent (though saying nothing about whether she’s mailed one herself – I did ask for clarification on this point). She says “thanks!”
I’ll spend some time this weekend working out the actual status of what’s going on. AwSnappity – there’s all kinds of reactions well this side of “mega-sad” where it’s okay to want to get a t-shirt.
