I am NOT going to start a second set of categories for youth sizes. You, young lady, are going into the “small” pool!
Note to self: send awsnappity a life time subscription to Tim Hortons.
Can I get a bit of clarification here…
I’m a 44-46" chest and take an 18 collar size and I fit into what we Brits call a large.
Are these XL etc much bigger than that?
Let me get this straight. I’m organizing this circus – a job not at all incomparable to herding kittens with ADD – and she gets coffee and doughnuts?
Harrumph.
owlstretchingtime – you sound like you might be an XL. Someone will look at a label and give you a chest-size measurement – I think 42" is large, 44" is XL. Or maybe it’s 40-42", 44-46".
Ok - uf I was fat I’d probably lie about it on the internet, but I’m really, really not fat.
Here’s proof (i’m on the right).
I only made that difference in my mail because theres is different types of XL shirts. One is only wider than L, but not any longer - I prefer the other type as I’m 6’7".
I don’t wan’t to make all this more complicated though. I’ll send an XL and will wear whatever type of XL I will eventually recieve with pride!
electrozion, honey, you weren’t the only one to make such a disclaimer.
I, OTOH, am fat. Also tall, but it doesn’t affect my T-shirt sizes.
Great! That does mean the chances are good I’ll get a tall XL (not a fat XL) shirt.
And hopefully bouncing this thread will attract even more enormously tall people willing to send a t-tshirt overseas…
Count me in
Can’t help you out electrozion - short Medium here
Hey, I’m short and flat-chested. That’s the way life goes. But I have no Tim Hortons around here–how about Krispy Kreme instead?
Oh I’m in. I’ve got at least four Jimmy Fund tee shirts and a lot of Cape Cod ones from cuffy’s.
A large, please, is you will.
Just a question: how does youth medium require a second set of categories any more than a size like XXL? It’s the same as XS, just under a different name. I don’t have to go to kids’ stores to find that size. Just wondering.
This is complicated enough sorting people into five groups! Since I am the organizer, I get to set the organization: we are using a five-size system. Tie five (adult, unisex) sizes are: S, M, L, XL, XXL. It’s up to each participants to figure out which of those groups will come closest to yielding a T-shirt that will fit him or her. If none of these are okay with you, bummer.
BTW, owlstretchingtime – I measured several of my XL T-shirts – they’re about 24" armpit to armpit.
Why am I getting cranky? Here is the current list – I think:

Everyone should both be on the list and have gotten an email from me. If you think you’ve signed up and haven’t heard, email again. If you got an email but aren’t listed, or vice versa, let me know.
Twickster, thank you again for arranging this carnival of t-shirt relocation madness. I for one will be thrilled with what and whomever I get!!
I would mail you a box of Timbits, but as I was leaving the Tim Horton’s, a flock of rabid seagulls attacked me. Well, since we’re near lakes, I guess they were lakegulls or something, but they looked really angry and I couldn’t make it to my car because I had to park so far away.
So I was forced to sacrifice the yummy Timbits to a flock of seagulls, and then I ran. I ran so far away.
ow Not the face!
The list seems to be missing a name, can’t quite put my finger on it, I think it starts with a V. Well I’m sure I’ll think of it…
You’re doing a great job Twicks, like herding cats, it’s not easy. Keep up the good work!
:smack:
The list is on my machine at home – I’ll double-check tonight. I remember seeing your name, though, so I think I just deleted it when I was doing the conversion from the full version to the username only version.
Sorry!
My name isn’t on the list either, but I did get an email.
No Email here in Olde England (where we have thatched computers).
HAH.
Thatched computers…that just blows my image of Tea Cozied Computers.
