Her being a man seems a little too obvious, so my guess is it’s something else. Maybe she’s pregnant with Phantom Limb’s child (or maybe Dr. Venture’s child).
I was thinking Dr. Venture’s child, given the way she denied sleeping with him so vociferously and how eager she was to get the Monarch to play nice with him. I dunno, though, I also hope it’s something completely out of the blue.
I think she told the Monarch that she helped send him to the pokey at the end of season 1.

I’m positive that she’s knocked up with Rusty’s kid. It’s the only thing that makes sense. Remember, the Monarch’s last words were, “What? How could you let this happen?” She’s gotta be knocked up, and it’s waaaay more entertaining if it’s Rusty’s kid, than Phantom Limb’s.
I could swear his last word was just “What!”
Upon checking my copy, that seems to be the case.
I have the theory that she is somehow related to Dr.Venture. Maybe sister, but maybe cousins. It would explain why she was against The Monarch having Dr.V as an arch-enemy, and why she gave him the butterfly serum antidote.
I didn’t know guys with Icarus tattooed on their bicep could be sarcastic. 
Last I heard in an interview they guaranteed she was all woman just with a deep voice. Her pronounced Adam’s Apple in “Dia De Los Dangerous” was an animation mistake.
Maybe she’s been married to David Bowie and here she is still having been married to David Bowie. Actually I had no good ideas. Although note Rusty has a lot less villains then he used to have with The Monarch agreeing to stop arching him and Ünderbheit being dethroned.
So if Dr. Girlfriend (Dr. Mrs. Monarch?) is pregnant with Rusty’s child, just how long is the gestation period? Two years?
Remember, she seduced Rusty at the beginning of season 1. That would mean all but the first three episodes of season 1 and all of season 2 would had to have happened in the span of four months. She’s skinny. She’d be pooching by now.
I was thinking that there wasn’t much indication of time passing, but I guess the Monarch’s prison time would have been a while (though do they ever say how long?).
I have a secret desire for her to be the mother of Hank and Dean, but I just don’t see how that’d be remotely possible.
Correct, I believe they use motion capture with a huge electronic brain to add the grids. Then it adds a picture of a pail, a face and flowers. Then it’s sent to Moonbase Go! where they remove the pail, face and flowers, add color, do more stuff and then back to Earth where they ignore everything done and draw in the figures.
You’ve got to remember, the episodes are more like what happens between their adventures - especially during season 2. Also, Rusty’s “sabbatical” lasted a couple of weeks.
I would guess that at least a year had passed between the beginning of season 1 and the end of season 2. Dr. Orpheus moved in around episode 4 or 5 of season one, and he knew about the Ghost Indians’ anniversary when Molotov was babysitting.
You’re right, they’re always talking about Marrakesh or the Crab People or whatever it is. I guess I never thought of it that way, but it does lend a new aspect to consider, and it makes me think of Dr. Venture as a little more useful. Huh.
