Yeah, I showed up late and, being the jerk that I am, took the place of Aguecheek’s wife (not sure if she’s a doper or not). I had a great time, and was relieved to see that you people are somewhat normal (and I mean “somewhat” in the nicest way possible). I’m sure the Missus and I will be making future appearances.
As far as the trivia – yowza, you (us?) Seattleites take trivia seriously! I like them hard, though. It’s much more satisfying to think for a minute and have it come to you than to quickly jot down something like, “Dar es Salaam, yeah, boring, I know my capitals.”
To summarize: great job, Interrobang, and thanks everyone for having me.
I don’t know how many more people out there who combine the right level of fame with a surplus of relatively minor movie roles, but David Cross, I salute you.
Also, that geography question is one of my favorites that I’ve ever written. It salvaged an otherwise humdrum geography week (that and the Wedgwood Rock).
Three teams correctly answered Cross. Rip Torn and Janeane Garofalo were the other (more) popular choices.
I was mildly surprised to see that you guys missed the Night of the Hunter question, though of course it wasn’t flagged as such ahead of time…
And I must know the psychology behind this: you didn’t write down a guess for the White Stripes video, yet inkysplotchy says you discussed “Fell in Love with a Girl.” Even if you thought it was wrong, why leave it blank?
I’m a maybe – I have a meeting tonight from 7-8:30, but I’m trying to get out of it. Or I might show up late. I’ll try to give a more definite answer later.
