Well…it was a classic for 54 minutes. Florida really came through at the end. 31-20, just intercepted with 1:39 to go.
Florida wins the SEC Championship, and secures a berth the the BCS Title game. Florida-Oklahoma, if that’s the matchup, oughta be really good if ya like offense…

Ball State was never a serious contender for a spot in the BCS Title game. That wasn’t gonna happen even if the entire SEC and Big 12 vanished from the face of the earth before midnight tonight.
Oklahoma pretty much has a “win and in” situation. If they lose, things get interesting…
That leaves Boise and Utah ,undefeateds for the National Championship. Perfect.
Bama fan checking in here. What a great game. There’s no shame in losing that one: the better team won, no question about it. No big mistakes on either side, just good football. As a graduating senior at Alabama, it hurt a little bit, but I’m looking forward to watching us wipe Utah off the face of the map and Florida to slap Oklahoma around like a redheaded stepchild.

Well damn. That would have hurt a lot worse if Florida hadn’t played so well. Good game. Good season. It sure would have been nice to yell “hey Florida” but I’ll do the gator chop for you during the championship game. Tebow is one hell of a team leader.

That ain’t happening either. A team that wants to be taken seriously as a national championship contender needs to play in a real conference.
