Second verse, same as the first!

According to either rocknroll fact or rocknroll legend, when Peter Noone says “Second verse, same as the first!” in “Henry VIII”, it’s because he actually forgot what the second verse was.

Anyone know what the second verse is? Or, is it really just same as the first?

Yes… the way that Herman and his collected Hermits performed it. What I’ve not been able to find is the way it was actually written…

Do you have some reason to think that it’s different?

Actually, Herman doesn’t sing any of the verses. He just repeats the chorus of the song. This site apparently gives the whole song.
