Well, I’m not in the know, but they pretty clearly seem to be categories. Perhaps they are planning to use that to facilitate a search/browse by category function.
sdwild = topic deals with animals
sdcons = Contestant #3 posts

They use the same technique at theforce.net so they don’t spiol the movie for people who haven’t seen SW1 yet. kinda kewl.
