Thank you!! It is really beautiful. No joke about it being heavy–I looked at the postage.
I think since you sent me such a great gift, you should be forgiven all past misdeeds.

You mean with all those “hints” I gave you, you’re uncertain?? Everyone needs a black sheep in the family =)
I’m glad you like it (and you can spray it with smelly -stuff too)
My present arrived! ::does a little Santa dance::
Now being the curious have to know person I am, I immediately opened the box and pulled out the gift bag, which contained a Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book, a box of baby (chocolate) gators, and a post card of Panama City Beach, Florida. Yay!! So perfect and thank you so much, Susie Derkins; it is just what I wanted and in fact had listed in an earlier post. My Santa also included a beautiful hand-made card. I’ve already devoured one of the gators - head first, of course, so that he couldn’t snap at me. LOL And I’ll definitely be making recipes from the cook book over the holidays and beyond. The post card will go up on my tack board at work, where I have other postcards from favorite places. Thank you so very much!
I am concerned, though, that my Santee has not received their gift yet … I am hoping that it’s just taking it’s time getting there via the USPS. That I did not send it priority mail shouldn’t have delayed it this much. Please. It did go out on Tuesday so hopefully should be there soon!
Shipped! Should arrive on time, with any luck… if not, my deep apologies!
…although apparently my giftee already received a gift…
 That was fast! I’m so glad that you like it, and very glad that it made it before Christmas!! Those gators are made in Florida so I thought they were appropriate.
Okay, I’ve heard from everyone, one way or another, so hopefully now I’ll just be hanging out and checking off happy recipients.
Ho ho ho!
The card and the package arrived together today!
Thank you for the lovely socks: three pairs–gray with purple tiger stripes, alternating black and sparkly purple stripes, and argyle style pink, black, and gray.
And a dark choc. bar and a bag of Ghirardelli dark choc. mints! Totally awesome.
**I sent my package to a Doper in very early December and I really hope it arrives soon. It wasn’t going that far out of the U.S.
I’m getting a little worried about my giftee. I sent his package the same day I sent some other friends’ and they’ve all reported in…
His address was a little lengthy, so I hope it will get to him in time.

I’m also a little worried. My giftee has checked in to say she shipped, but not that she’s recieved. I shipped my package out on Monday, though the girls in the office may not have gotten to the post till Tuesday. I sent it Priority, so it should be there by now.
Yay, glad you like it!
I did manage to get to the post office yesterday, after all, but my gift won’t arrive until after
Christmas.
I also got my gift yesterday! Thank you so much for the pens, Ducktail; they will be put to good use!
I don’t know who you are sending to but they aren’t necessarily the person receiving your gift. As I understand it this is more of a round robin thing.
Yes – with one exception, everyone is sending to one person and receiving from a different person. (The exception involves our only Canadian participant – he or she is directly swapping with the only person who said he or she was okay with shipping to Canada.)
I was out of town for the weekend, but my Santa gift was waiting for me when I got home!!

[li]Some very pretty yarn (I did take up knitting, so it’s much appreciated)[/li][li]an adorable Victorian-looking calendar magnet that’s going up on my refrigerator [/li][li]BUCKEYES!!! [/li][li]a pair of GORGEOUS earrings handmade by my Santa (LOVE. THEM.)[/li][/ol]
All individually wrapped and so much fun to open. Also included was a very nice personal letter that explained all of the gifts and also included some very nice wishes.
Thank you so much, freckafree! I adore every bit of it!
I’m so glad you liked everything!
When your “what I like” list included local and chocolate, I immediately thought of buckeyes, and I bought them just before the whole buckeye crisis erupted.
When I saw you had put them as #3 in the list, I almost snorted my glass of wine all over my keyboard!
I meant that the person I shipped my gift to hasn’t posted to say she has received it yet, although she has posted to say that she has shipped hers to her recipient. (So I know she’s an active participant in the thread.) I am aware that it’s round robin. I was just concerned that the package I sent had not been received yet.
(And I’m pretty sure that the person I’m sending to will be the one receiving my gift.)
(Just not the one sending one to me.)
You’re very welcome. I’m glad you like it.
Just dropping in to let everyone know that mine came in the mail today.
But we’ll all have to wait for the majic morning to find out what it is!
W00t!!!
My package arrived today!!!
Thank you so much Gail. I don’t know how you knew that I liked mint and chocolate together, but you totally nailed it
Oh, what I got:
Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Cover Peppermint Joe Joe’s
Peppermint White Chocolate Bark
Yummy.
Getting worried about my giftee, since I sent all packages the same day Priority Mail.
Please ask my giftee if Santa needs to correct stuff???
It was a lenghty address, and I may have goofed it up!
Thanks
Bill
