I have always participated in the Secret Santa exchanges and love buying stuff for them, and getting stuff in return. But now I have an apology to make, because I don’t usually remember, a ways down the line, who I got the gifts from.
Now I am about to use two small items I once got, and I want to say I’m glad to have them. One is an itty bitty grater. I couldn’t find my bigger one, to zest an orange and a lemon so I worked with the little one. Took a while longer than usual, but it worked! Now I’ll be mixing up a simnel cake for Easter, and I need “two tsp of mixed spice” And I have a small container I got, I think from the same giver, of Penzey’s baking spice. Perfect.
Whoever you were, I knew these would come in handy someday. If you recognized the items you gave me, you may get on my case as much as you want.
